Pier + Anto were incredibly communicative in the day leading up to our stay and timed meeting us perfectly with our arrival from Verona. When we got there, we saw just how great the place was. Sleek and sensible interior design, little gifts of cheese and wine, coffee, a liter of water cooling in the fridge, a welcome letter with the history of the house and area, and of course...THE GARDEN. Even better than the garden though were Pier and Anto. We talked for about 45 minutes after our arrival about the arts, antique markets, Bologna, and our lives. They got to know us, then suggested the perfect places for us. They genuinely were excited for us to experience the things they love and know we would love. Our first stop was one of their friend's pawn/antique shops where we found really cool old camera equipment and nick-nacks. I can't say enough about how amazing their place is and how amazing they are. They even lent us their two bikes to ride around the city. They are just the best. When we're back in Bologna, there is no other place we will ever stay. Matthew + Sasha

Die Wohnung und der sehr schöne Garten sind in einer nem Top Zustand und perfekt gelegen. In der Umgebung befinden sich viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß am Piazza Maggiore. Pier & Anto sind waren sehr herzlich und jederzeit erreichbar.

Very well located apartment, sparkling clean, offered by super welcoming hosts who really do their best to offer you a great experience in their city. Bed is comfortable, linen and towels smell good, kitchen is well furnished and the intimate garden is a lovely sanctuary where to have breakfast or read a book. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

4泊しました。 ボローニャ空港からはタクシーで20€、ポルタマッジョーレ近くの便利で静かなアパートです。 歴史ある建物をセンス良く居心地よくリノベーションしてあり、ゲストが過ごしやすいようきめ細かい配慮が有ります。 チェックイン時にはスパークリングワインとパルミジャーノレッジャーノ、ミネラルウォーターの用意があり、ホッとします。 設備も大型の食洗器や洗濯機、調理器具の取説もしっかりファイリングして用意してあり、緊急時の医療関係の連絡先も用意してくれています。 圧巻は手入れが行き届いた中庭が一望できるよう壁を大型ガラスに変えたスペースでしょうか。 掃除も隅々まで行き届き清潔だったので古い扉のインテリア等も生かされてると感じました。 ベッドの寝心地の良く、シーツや枕にもこだわりを感じさせます。 ボローニャではポrルティコでの移動に自転車が便利なのですが、こちらでは無料で2台貸していただけます。 近くのcoopでは食料品、日用品も一通り揃いますし、非常に便利でした。 メールでの問い合わせも対応が早いです。 とてもリラックスできる、素敵なアパートです。

We had the most wonderful time staying at Giardino Segreto. This was our first visit to Bologna and we couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. The apartment is in a really, really convenient location - we walked absolutely everywhere, but Pier & Anto also provide bikes, should you prefer to get around on two wheels. The apartment itself is so well kitted out and has everything you need as well as being really beautiful - the garden room and the walled garden itself are a beautiful and quiet oasis in the middle of a gorgeous city. We could not fault it. Pier & Anto's hospitality is also second to none - from the sweet greetings upon arrival, to a taster of local parmegiano regiano and some sparkling wine on arrival (so incredibly thoughtful!) through to the incredible recommendations on where to go and what to eat (the local Osteria and Gelateria come highly recommended and were just wonderful). Even above and beyond this, the thoughtful additional touches such as spare toiletries and coffee pods really cement this place as one of the best places we've ever stayed. We highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back ourselves soon!

15 th century home, modern furnished, with a green and small city garden. Excellent host family, warm welcoming and helpful for touristic information. Perfect location near to top historical attractions, easy to walk to markets, pharmacies, basilicas and squares. Suitable for families up to 4 people.

You will find this apartment close to the Porta Maggiore, so it is hard to miss. The location is just perfect. Close to the center and bus stations too. This peace o heaven is run by angels Pier and Anto, one of the kindest owners I ever met. We arrived very late night but they welcomed us with a smile and hug as friends, gave us many information and directions for our stay. They welcomed us warmly with a bottle of wine and great organic Parmesan. The apartment itself is a romantic place with a small private garden, it´s perfect for a couple in love. If the weather is not good, you can just stay in the winter garden and observe the garden. There is everything like nespresso machine including tabs, tea, sugar, salt etc. in the kitchen. You can just buy pasta or else at the market and cook for yourself. It is not less romantic as dinner outside :) You will find a big high quality flat tv including Netflix service etc. and also a high quality stereo. And everything is absolutely clean, of course. The french bed is very comfortable. You will find a bidet in the bathroom as well. We loved the style, a connection of medieval and modern style, the owners gave their best here. All in one, we could not be more satisfied.

I won't say a lot cause words can't describe what i felt when i got inside! The house is ahead of its time,with a beautiful structure and full equipment.Clean like the Greek waters,with amazing hosts that were so helpful through the days that we stayed in Bologna!Of course we won't check for anything else at our next visit to the city,i fully recommend it to everyone!!!

❤️ Since the booking of accomodation we have felt care and interest from hosts which was 101% confirmed after our arrival to this Piece of Paradise - Secret Garden. Pier and Anto kept in touch with us until the moment we met them waiting us with warm smiles near the home. Their hospitality and helpfulness were guiding us through whole stay and thanks to them Bologna felt like home for us. We got lot of great recommendations about sightseeings, restaurants, gelaterias etc. Accomodation itself is indeed Piece of Paradise! It has everything what you need and even more. It's stylish, cosy and it feels like home. The Secret Garden is beautiful gem of this place where you can enjoy glass of wine in the evening while listening vinyls from gramophone surrounded by breathing green garden - what could be more romantic!
