With its unique character, Trastevere remains one of the best areas in Rome to sightsee the city and enjoy its nightlife. With regards to the neighborhood, this is probably the most famous area in Rome, well connected with public transportation (the tram stop is less than 5 minutes away on foot), within a walking distance to amazing monuments and sites. The flat is very close to all the restaurants and nice bistros that made Trastevere famous, yet it is located in a very quiet area where you can rest at night without being bothered with traffic or any other noise. The very big living room with a kitchen can host two additional people on a very comfortable queen size bed. Amenities include air conditioning (placed in the living room and in the master bedroom), heating system, wireless high-speed internet connection as well as double glazing windows. We also provide clean towels and sheets for every guest, complimentary soap and shampoo, and you can find a hairdryer in the bathroom. The apartment also has a very big kitchen, fully-equipped with a dishwasher, a gas stove, a fridge/freezer unit and a washing machine are installed in one of the bathrooms. An iron and an ironing board are also provided. The building, unlike many others in the area, is modern and placed in a very quiet street. It has a doorman and the area is very secure, even very late at night. We are happy to take care of any special requests you may have and to provide you with some information for reaching the apartment to/from the airport and harbor! We provide a written guide to both the apartment and the neighborhood, with tips and advice for restaurants, bistros, pubs, grocery stores, supermarkets, etc… Kindly note that smoking is NOT allowed in the apartment. The baby cot is not included in the price, please contact us for a quote if you need one and we will bring it to the flat. This is a self-catering apartment, initial toilet paper rolls, shampoo, and soap are provided. Upon arrival at the apartment, we will show you the nearest supermarket for all your needs. Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is at 10 am. Late check-in (after 8 pm) is 30€. Late check-in (after 11 pm) is 50€ Starting April 1st, 2018 Roman Authorities have decided that tourist accommodation taxes are due by guests of hotels, holiday homes, and bed & breakfasts. This tax is due for every night spent in Rome's accommodations. The above-mentioned Roman Tourism tax (3,50€ per night per person) is NOT included in the price and has to be paid in cash upon arrival. According to Italian laws (Article 109 of the T.U.L.P.S. and Ministry of Interior Decree 07/01/2013) all those providing accommodation of any sort, including hotels, owners or managers of apartments, vacation homes and holidays rental structures are obliged by law to disclose to the Italian National Police Authority personal information of all their customers within 48 hours. The information must be transmitted to the National Police, through the Italian Police secure web portal (URL HIDDEN) ). The Italian Ministry of Interior Decree mandates that the following information must be collected and transmitted for each guest, as a national security and counter-terrorism measure: - Name; - Surname; - Nationality; - Place of birth; - Date of birth; - Passport or ID number; - Country of Issuance; - City of Residence and Address. These data are only collected for the above-mentioned purpose and are sent through the Italian Police’s secure website. All accommodations must register to this web portal and credentials for access are only given to authorized and licensed accommodations. Data are then immediately destroyed after your declared departure date. Please note that if you refuse to provide these details, we must by law refuse to host you. In any case for those violating this provision, the law warrants the arrest and detention for up to three months. Beware of accommodations that do not require this information from you, as they are illegal and this may have serious repercussion for your security as a traveler, our national security and your future travel plans to our country.
