Right from the doorway the atmosphere seduces and relaxes with a harmony of design and color that expresses Italian handicraft’s soul and reminds Trastevere’s folkloristic one.
The house is on the ground floor but it is not on the road, which makes it extremely safe.
It has five beds (a double bed, a single bed and a double sofa bed) with a total floor surface of 45 square meters, organized in four spaces: living room with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and laundry.
From the appliances to the furniture, from the mosquito nets to the gratings, every component has been chosen and studied to satisfy our Guests’ eases and needs.
From our idea of nest this home came into being.
The Best Nest, a dwelling that wants to surprise by the attention to detail, arousing an immediate and strong effect that is both visual and emotional because where the eye is pleased and the heart rejoices, we can always feel right at home.
SAFETY
In relation to safety and cleanliness, TBN had not had to face the tragic experience of this virus to make the hygiene our priority, it has always been.
From the handles to the switches, from every piece of furniture to every single one of the kitchenware, everything has always been carefully sanitized after every check-out at TBN because, not only in the hôtellerie field, cleanliness is synonymous with safety and respect to the others and ourselves.

All i have to say is its the cutest home and ultimate location in Trastevere which is close to everywhere in Rome. Great restaurants, great ambiance and i could only say that Pietro e Eleonora were by far the best hosts ever. Treated us like family. Love it loved it !

The Best Nest provides it all!
This is a great apartment with great hosts. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Trastevere, Rome. Coffee, snacks, juice and even a bottle of wine were waiting after a long trip. The apartment is 5 minutes to many restaurants, the lively street scene of Trastevere, grocery stores, a bakery, and the bus stop for the Vatican. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the Pantheon and many other tourist sites across the Tiber. The apartment is very quiet, has a washing machine and a strong AC. I always felt safe here. Eleonora and Pietro, our hosts responded immediately to all our questions and very kindly booked transport to and from the airport. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

We Hope to Return in the Future
Our trip to the Best Nest was wonderful. The hosts, Eleonora and Pietro, were delightful. Clear communication before our trip and the warm greeting and assistance when we arrived was greatly appreciated. The apartment is located in a quiet section of Trastevere, but you’re only a few blocks from the tree lined river walk, small shops, and many fine restaurants. Most of the main sights in Rome are within walking distance, but there is a taxi stand one block away if needed. The apartment itself is immaculately clean with updated amenities and personal touches which makes you feel like you’re visiting a friend’s home. We would definitely return to The Best Nest in the future!

A Great Stay In Trastevere, Rome
Pietro and Eleonora were so welcoming. Our accommodation was great it made us feel like locals.Located in Trastevere with great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to most of the attractions. If walking is not your thing a bus is just nearby. Pietro and Eleonora offered great advice on places to visit and eat. The apartment was cosy and comfortable, we felt like locals! I can honestly say it was one of the best places we had during our stay in Italy!

Trastevere Cottage
It is beautiful, small cottage facing into a bright courtyard. Trastevere (district) is right by the river. It's treed, pedestrianised, narrow streets, away from traffic, calmed me down. Staying here changed my view of Rome. And I found it a good base to explore Rome’s archaeological sections, the Vatican, and further field.

My favourite stay
I think after a month of travelling this is by far one of the most comfortable apartments I have ever stayed in. It’s clean, close to everything and in a beautiful quiet part of Trastevere. It’s fully equipped with everything and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The host are just simply wonderful. Always available for any questions and have many suggestions where to go and eat and enjoy the many different foods of Rome. I couldn’t fault a thing and really many other hosts can learn of this young couple that know how to treat a weary traveller especially after being on the road for weeks. A pleasure to stay in this apartment and will more than definitely book there again in the future. Will always return to Rome 😊

Trastevere is not a tourist attraction but the very emblem of Roman spirit, the neighborhood that more and better preserves intact the exuberant soul of The Eternal City.
Intrigue of cobbled alleys, trattorias and medieval buildings, Trastevere seduces by the genuine contradictions of its core, quiet during the day and entertaining at night.
Here history and art blend with flavours of the most authentic Rome, the one where time has stopped in the suggestive glimpses of a location without equal.
The cobblestones of Trastevere are a mosaic of folklore, treasures and culinary delicacies that make this neighborhood the beating heart of Roman movida, coveted destination for Italian and foreign travelers who don’t like feeling ordinary tourists.
Getting around
The Best Nest was born in one of the safest and most centric alleyways in Trastevere, an exclusive and enviable location: a few steps from the charming Tiberina Island and the very well-known Basilica di Santa Maria, our Guests will just have to walk for reaching all the most famous attractions of The Eternal City.
From St. Peter to the Colosseum, passing through Castel Sant’Angelo, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon… every sight is within a walking distance and so are all kinds of shops and supermarkets.
And for who doesn’t like walking, just 50 meters from TBN there are many stops of buses and trams that go back and forth between the close Train Station and any other destination within and outside the city walls.

HOW YOU CAN REACH OUR APARTMENT
1. From Leonardo Da Vinci – Fiumicino Airport:
• You can take a public taxi. The official fare has been established by the Municipality of Rome and it is € 50,00 up to 3 people, luggage included;
If you arrive at Fiumicino Airport, we can book a private driver for you from the airport to THE BEST NEST.
The fare is the official one established by the Municipality of Rome.
Since this is a service to protect our Guests from dishonest drivers, it does NOT have any extra costs. You will be able to pay cash your driver and no booking deposit is required.
We do NOT earn anything from this service, it’s just a way to help our Guests reach us faster and more comfortably.
If you want the cab, you only have to email us:
-The number of your flight;
-The exact landing time;
You should also confirm that the Airport where you arrive is Fiumicino Airport because, according to taxi regulations, we can book cabs only from and to Fiumicino Airport.
If you want the cab you should let us know it as soon as possible because we have to book it in advance.
For our Guests we book only very reliable and professional drivers whose company does not accept last minute reservations.
• You can catch the train to Trastevere Station.
You have to get off at Trastevere Station (7 stops).
The train takes about 30 minutes to reach Trastevere Station.
When you exit Trastevere Station you can catch the TRAM 8 (direction Venezia) or the BUS H (direction Termini).
The tram/bus ticket costs € 1,50 per person and it lasts 100 minutes.
You will need to buy your tickets before getting on the tram/bus.
You can buy your tickets at tobacco shops or at newsagents.
Get off in Piazza G. Belli (6 stops by Tram and 4 stops by Bus).
From Piazza G. Belli just walk for about 100 metres and in two minutes you will easily reach the apartment;
• You can take the non-stop train Leonardo Express to Termini Station.
This train takes about 30 minutes to reach Termini Station.
When you exit Termini Station you have to catch the BUS H (direction Dei Capasso - 6 stops).
The bus ticket costs € 1,50 per person and it lasts 100 minutes.
You will need to buy your tickets before getting on the bus.
You can buy your tickets at tobacco shops or at newsagents.
Get off at Sonnino/S. Gallicano (H) stop.
From Sonnino/S. Gallicano just walk for about 100 metres and in two minutes you will easily reach the apartment.
2. From Ciampino Airport:
• You can take a public taxi. The official fare has been established by the Municipality of Rome and it is € 31,00 up to 3 people, luggage included;
• You can take the Bus Terravision to Termini Station.
The bus takes about 40 minutes to reach Termini Station.
When you exit Termini Station you have to catch the BUS H (direction Dei Capasso – 6 stops).
The bus ticket costs € 1,50 per person and it lasts 100 minutes.
You will need to buy your tickets before getting on the bus.
You can buy your tickets at tobacco shops or at newsagents.
Get off at Sonnino/S.Gallicano (H) stop.
From Sonnino/S.Gallicano just walk for about 100 metres and in two minutes you will easily reach the apartment.
3. From Termini Station:
• You can take a public taxi. You will easily find a taxi rank outside Termini Station;
• You can catch tha BUS H (direction Dei Capasso – 6 stops).
The bus ticket costs € 1,50 per person and it lasts 100 minutes.
You will need to buy your tickets before getting on the bus.
You can buy your tickets at tobacco shops or at newsagents.
Get off at Sonnino/S. Gallicano (H) stop.
From Sonnino/S. Gallicano just walk for about 100 metres and in two minutes you will easily reach the apartment.
4. From Civitavecchia Harbour:
• You can take a public taxi. The official fare has been established by the Municipality of Rome and it is € 120,00 up to 3 people, luggage included;
• You can catch the train to Trastevere Station.
You have to get off at Trastevere Station.
The train takes about 1 hour to reach Trastevere Station.
When you exit Trastevere Station you can catch the TRAM 8 (direction Venezia) or the BUS H (direction Termini).
The tram/bus ticket costs € 1,50 per person and it lasts 100 minutes.
You will need to buy your tickets before getting on the tram/bus.
You can buy your tickets at tobacco shops or at newsagents.
Get off in Piazza G. Belli (6 stops by Tram and 4 stops by Bus).
From Piazza G. Belli just walk for about 100 metres and in two minutes you will easily reach the apartment.

As in the whole historic centre, a few steps from The Best Nest it is possible to find on-street parking with rates charged per hour/day etc. and pay and display secure parking.
