The largest room is composed with a window facing on a quiet street, a round table with 4 chairs, a comfy European-Queen size bed (160cm x 200cm : 63in × 79in), a futon bed (it can be opened becoming an extra bed 70cm x 200cm : 27in x 79in), a cot for your young traveler (0-4 y/o) and a spacious wardrobe. The bathroom is comfortable with bath tub & shower and is located at higher level, 5 steps up.

Interaction with guests
I'll be always available and you don't have afraid to make me questions or let me know your doubts. After the booking will be confirmed and paid I usually send by email a 'travel-form', a Word .doc file with some fields such as 'time of landing, time of departure, etc.' to fill out, in order to better arrange your stay. Besides, at the arrival, I'll have to check and take note of your passport or ID (if it is valid for EU) details because I have to report them to Police, as required by italian law.

We arranged for Giulia's father to pick us up at the airport, which was so convenient after a long flight. When we arrived at the flat, which is full of character and lovingly maintained, Guilia had a pizza (also arranged for) and a Peroni waiting for us (nice surprise!). We contacted her with questions about the best gelato in Rome...

This appartment is right next to the Roman Forum. From it you can easily access the Colosseum and some fabulous restaurants. Giulia was a great host. She provided heaps of information and was on hand whenever we needed anything. We were travelling with our 6 month old and the appartment had everything we needed. Thanks heaps Giulia.

If you want to live in a heart of real Rome, then you are in a superb place. Everything is in a walking distance: Fori Imperiali, Colosseum, Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, Theatre of Marcellus... The apartment itself is cosy, ideal for small family - there were 3 of us staying here, and we found the place convenient and spacious enough. Despite...

About the neighborhood
'Rione Monti' is the most ancient and charming district in Rome. There is a good balance between romans who live here from generations, students and tourists. At the main little square of the neighborhood (Piazza Madonna dei Monti) the atmosphere is pleasant and perfect for a chit-chat.

There are lots of restaurants, bars, artisan shops and much more, however the building is not attached to any of those places and the walls of the apartment are more than a meter thick, so your sleep will be very peaceful!

Well, President of Italy and the Mayor will be your neighbors, then I guess you can walk safe. Anyway Rome is a big city, if you're alone in the middle of night don't ask 'what time is it?' to sinister shadows in the dark ;)
Getting around
The apartment is ON the Imperial Forums, in front of the main door of the building you'll find Augustus Forums and the Trajan Markets. Literally few steps away there are Colosseum, Capitol Hill, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. Nearby there is an important hub of buses, so you can reach any area of Rome, even the most remote one! With two metro stations nearby (Colosseo and Cavour stop) becomes easy reach Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, Via Veneto and many other interesting venues, however reachable by a pleasant walk.
