This was a very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment. The terrace gave us private outside space, too, that we really valued. Great area to stay in. Friendly welcome and excellent coffee at the nearby Bar Giovenale, equally fine pizza by the slice from the pizzeria on the piazza. 2-minute walk to the good, local supermarket, 10 minutes to the metro, 20 minutes to San Pietro. We'd love to return. To improve the experience even more, we'd suggest a little more attention to the kitchen. Many of the utensils (stove top coffee maker, cutlery...) are worn/broken and need replacing. Just a few euros would make a big difference. Also, the dishwasher didn't work. Of course, this didn't ruin our holiday, but it was an inconvenience as we enjoy local markets and cooking . We did report it... A folder with information about how the appliances, heating and air conditioning work in the apartment would be very useful

pochi metri dalla fermata metro vicinissima ai musei vaticani ben collegata vicino c'è tutto supermercato negozi bar ristoranti la casa molto pulita e profumata ottima accoglienza letti comodissimi meglio di casa mia! belllo il terrazzo ci ritornerei volentieri per un prossimo soggiorno a Roma!!!!!!

overall it's OK but i would like to share the experience for the other travelers. it's a little bit far from the metro and up a hill so people with mobility problems would find this difficult, it's 10 min walk from the metro for sure. it's more suited for families and groups , although we had the entire house reserved the smaller room was closed with no explanations. The kitchen is fully equipped and although there are two bathrooms they cannot be used at the same time as they share the toilet basin. there are balconies and you can smoke and have your coffee outside if it's hot enough , but the windows are old and they don't close to well, you can hear all from outside and in the morning is noisy. The rooms are big but the radiators small and combined with the windows it results in cold rooms. the A/C is not working and we did not have the remotes to all of them . The tv's are small and no other station but in Italian can be caught. there is a doorman and the area is safe, there are two big supermarkets on the same street. it's 20 - 30 min of walking to Vatican museum. the owner is very friendly and helping.

This apartment is one off property and it has an atmosphere of 'home'. Spacious, pleasant and no intrusions at all. It has a master bedroom, a secondary double bedroom and a single 'box' room. Kitchen is large and well equipped. There is a Shower and bathroom combined and a secondary toilet without shower. It has two balconies, one is big enough to be a kind of patio with wooden chairs and table. There is a lobby as you enter the property leading to the lounge which is beautiful, complete with bookshelf with an excellent collection of books in it but in Italian. Although designed for 5 people, it Certainly can sleep 7 or 8. Simone [the owner] is very nice and co-operative person. They let us in to leave luggage at 10.30am although we were supposed to check in at 2pm. As for location, it is next best thing to being in the middle of Rome with a fraction of the cost. There are two large supermarkets on the same road, [walking towards the Vatican which is 10 minute walk]. There are restaurants and pizzerias in the area. The Metro is less than 10 minutes walk away [Cipro station, pronounced 'cheapro' ]. All major attractions are 'walkable' but even if you are not a walking person, a 1.5 Euro metro ticket will take you anywhere you want as it is valid for 75 minutes the moment you put it in the electronic turnstile to enter a station [these are widely available from tobacconists as well as auto machines and ticket offices at the stations]. The farthest attraction is Coliseum which is bang in front of its own metro station - note: for coliseum you will have to change line at the main Terminal station called Termini - its very straight forward as there are only two lines in Rome and you don't need a second ticket, your original is valid until 75 minutes have lapsed where is you only need 15 minutes for the whole journey! The underground system is very good.
