About the neighborhood
Besides archeological sites, the center of Rome has much to offer: live concerts in music halls and churches, the best shopping in town, great dining and hundreds of little cafes. Or just walk and explore the many little streets of the center where every corner hides a surprise.
How to get there
Most airlines fly to rome. The Ciampino airport hosts Ryan Ait, Easy Jet and other budget companies. To reach the apartment from Fiumicino International Airport, you can take the train from the airport to the central train station (Termini). This is not the only train departing from the airport, so please make sure you board the right train. The train takes approximately 40 minutes. The train ticket is 14 euro, while a cab from the airport is around 50-60 euro. There is also a 40 euro flat fee from the airport (plus extra charge for baggage) but ask for it to the cab driver before leaving. The internet link describing connections from Fiumicino airport to Rome is http://www.adr.it/portal/portal/adr/Fiumicino/Leonardo_da_vinci/Header_Window?action=2 From Ciampino airport there is a bus (Te...
