Located in a lovely communal garden, the apartment consists of a large loft divided between a kitchenette, living area, bedroom and a well-appointed spacious bathroom where towels and toiletries are provided so you can enjoy an energising shower in the morning! One of the highlights of the property are the furnishings made by the finest manufacturers, including LAGO, KARTEL, MAGIS and lamps by VISTOSI, FOSCARINI, and others, which lends a stylish designer and modern feel to the room and creates a unique sense of personality in the home. The equipment includes also a TV in the living room and an EPSON projector with a 2-meter by 3-meter screen in front of the bed. The sound quality of the 'cinema' room is guaranteed by a soundbar with a power of 300W(with a separate subwoofer for deeper vibrations) and a Dolby Digital 2.1 system. Furthermore a very large catalogue of films (DVD and Blu-ray) is available in many languages and subtitles, to be seen on the cinema screen. In the ceiling windows, there are green spaces lit all day and night. The super comfortable double bed is a king-size (180cm x200cm) fitted with fresh hotel-quality linens while the sofa bed can convert into a double bed(160cm x 200cm). The snack table is located next to a beautiful bookcase full of art and design book; optimizing the separation spaces between the dining area and the bathroom. In the kitchen, you’ll find all the modern appliances you need to cook a delicious meal. The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. ##Guest access You will have the whole place to yourself. We will provide you with the products needed for it, as well as basic supplies for cooking and shower. The whole place is available. ##Interaction with guests My home is managed by Hostmaker; they are an award-winning property management service team who knows Rome like the back of their hand! Next to the Colosseum is the iconic Palatine Hill, with some of the largest concentration of surviving ancient Roman buildings anywhere in the world such as the Arch of Titus, the Arch of Constantine and the Roman Forum. As well as being home to an unparalleled treasure of the past, the area around the Colosseum, in particular, Celio to the south, is a living, breathing, working part of the modern city. A stroll around the neighbourhood will allow you to see Rome as it is today, with small shops, places of work, parks (especially the beautiful Villa Celimontana) and restaurants. Celio is also one for Rome’s most gay-friendly neighbourhoods with clubs and bars to cater to the LGBT crowd. If you’re looking for a bite to eat in the Colosseo area, head to Li Rioni, which is just a few minutes’ walks from the famous amphitheatre and serves delicious thin Roman-style pizzas with a variety of toppings, cooked in a traditional stone oven. Alternatively, for traditional Italian meat, pasta or seafood cuisine, try I Clementini, where the menu is full of quality dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients. The seared tuna steak with pistachio and cherry tomatoes is a particular recommendation. The best recommendation is to stay away from the tourist trap restaurants right next to the Colosseum itself and instead head for a small trattoria a few streets away for better service and quality of food. For a quick light lunch, while you’re out and about seeing the sights, Pizzería di Sforza Piero is only a few minutes walk away from the Colosseum and does incredible pizza by the slice for a very reasonable price. For a drink in the evening, try the rooftop bar, La Terrazza on top of the Hotel Capo. Just a few minute’s walks from the famous arena, if you are lucky enough to get a table at sunset, you can admire silhouette of Rome’s most famous landmark with a glass of wine. Brewdog, the highly regarded Scottish craft beer company have recently opened their first bar in Rome and whilst a glass of wine may be more traditional, there’s no beating that chance to enjoy a Brewdog beer just 100m from the Colosseum. ##Transit 51 minutes from public transport to Leonardo Da Vinci Airport.
