About the neighborhood
The best location in Rome Centrum: easy to move, all the bus and the tubes you wish are around the apartment. Possibility to visit the Centrum of Rome and to return home only walking. Easy arrival and departs. The Central Station-Stazione Termini, arrival point from all the destinations, it is 10 minutes walking near. The best view of Rome and the more quiet apartment in the centre. Walking distance to the Roman Forum (10 mins), the Colosseum (10 mins), the Spanish Steps and Trevi (15 mins) and the city's central train station (15 mins). The apartment is very quiet. It is fully furnished with all amenities. Sports activities: jogging directly to Colosseo, Colle Oppio, Foro Romano.
Getting around
It is two blocks from all the Hop-on/Hop-off buses (there are 4 or 5 companies in Rome) which is right by the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. At least 30 restaurants within a 2 to 4 block radius of the apartment, along with several grocery stores. The location is safe at all hours of the day and night. The taxi's to the airport are capped at 48 euros and are very prompt when scheduled. The Monti district is one of the most picturesque and lively areas of the whole city, bordered by Via Nazionale, Via Cavour and Via dei Fori Imperiali. There are stores of all sorts including antiquity shops, designer boutiques, art galleries as well as small fine food shops, bakers and greengrocers, bars, pubs and restaurants.
