This 55sqm apartment is located on the fourth floor (without elevator, there are 70 steps to climb). The combination of natural materials typical of the Roman tradition contributes creating a cosy and relaxing ambience. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, a nicely furnished living room, bathroom and kitchen. Due to the position in the narrow streets of the historical centre, the living room is not very bright, yet the guests will benefit from the quietness and the pleasant interior and exterior views. Entering the house you immediately find the living room: the kitchen and the bathroom are on the right, the sleeping area on the left. The kitchen is equipped with all the most useful appliances, such as refrigerator, oven, stove, crockery and cutlery for six people, and a table with four chairs. The kitchen also has a fireplace (not working). From here you get out onto the balcony, with views of the picturesque courtyards of the district. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (145cm x 190cm), two bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, a wardrobe and a bedside table. The two bedrooms overlook Via dei Capocci. The bathroom has a bathtub with a hand shower, whilst before the bathroom is a hallway fitted with a closet with washing machine. Area Via dei Capocci is located in the Monti neighbourhood, one of the oldest districts of Rome where you can breath the city’s magical atmosphere, filled with history and art. Being in such a central district, which still preserves the charm of the past, means that you can easily walk to all the main sights: the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, Via Veneto, Piazza di Spagna, Via del Corso, Piazza Venezia and the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli. The ‘Rione Monti’ is located between two major roads, Via Cavour and Via Nazionale, and it is centred around the Madonna dei Monti square, with the characteristic Fountain of the Catechumens (Fontana dei Catecumeni). Today, Monti is a must-see place, thanks to its small shopkeepers and craftsmen, the famous vintage market, one of the best in Rome (open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m., August excluded), painters and art galleries, pubs, shops and gourmet restaurants. Don’t miss Via del Boschetto, where you find traditional restaurants such as ‘I tre Scalini’, specialized in salads and Scamorza cheese, the pizzeria ‘Le Carrette’ and the ‘trattoria’ restaurant ‘Da Valentino’. Public transports - Metro B, Cavour station – 500 m (4 min walk) - Colosseum - 700 m (13 min walk) - Termini station - 1,5 km (12 min walk) Parking The apartment is located in the Limited Traffic Zone. At daytime the area is closed to cars: - between 6:30 a.m. and 06:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday (holidays excluded) - between 14:00 a.m. and 06:00 p.m., Saturday (holidays excluded) At night the area is closed to cars: - between 11:00 p.m. and 03:00 a.m., Friday and Saturday (public holidays included) In August the night Limited Traffic Area is suspended.More
