Interaction with guests:Â Aorangi and her crew are famous for treating women as the owner likes to be treated...and that's really really well. So all of the running of the boat is done by the crew, and guests are invited to join in on the sailing to whatever degree they feel comfortable. Magazines and refreshments are always available during our sails, along with comfy cushions on deck to enjoy the journey...
Gaeta is a quaint fishing town nestled in the Gulf of Gaeta between Rome and Naples along the Tirrennean Sea. The location offers easy cruising to the outlaying Pontine Islands at a 1/2 days sail, along with the fabulous Flegrei Islands including Capri, and the magnificant Amalfi Coast. It is recommended that at least 10-12 days be planned if considering a route that includes all of these jewels. Daily cruising available in the gulf and to the outlaying beaches along the coast. Weekend cruises available to the Pontine Island of Ventotene. Pickup and dropoff to nearest airport or train station can be figured into final cost. All prices are base costs, and custom packages can be arranged all inclusive to satisfy your every desire. Culture, culinary, diving, sightseeing...all can be arranged to offer the most exclusive and enjoyable holiday in the Italian Seas. Getting around
Everything you'd like to do while in Gaeta and on the islands can be done on foot. Shopping is within easy reach, as are restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. Part of the fun is discovering the wide array of offerings from all of the small shops that specialize in everything from buffalo mozzarella to electrical needs. And it's always just a walk away to find what you need. Coffee bars and restaurants abound both in Gaeta as well as the surrounding islands. But helping to buy fresh fare to enjoy on board in the candlelight of the cockpit is usually a big plus for most.

How to get there
Gaeta is easy to get to by train to the Formia/Gaeta station, and the international airports of Rome and Naples are a few hours away by car. A driver will pick you up at the airport as part of your booking should you arrive by plane. There is also a helicopter service available (at guests cost) if you're in a hurry to come on board.
