From the lounge area is a door leading to an outside covered seating area and brick built barbecue. The garden has a private swimming pool, patio and plenty of space to sit in the shade or the sun. You will find 4 sun loungers and dining table for al fresco dining.

My husband & I felt fortunate to stay in this stunning 5 * villa. The villa is fabulously furnished and decorated throughout. The owners have made sure that everything that you could possibly need was there at Casa Catherina Joan.
Set in beautiful landscaped gardens the villa is quiet & peaceful. The property's own pool was great to cool down in after enjoying the wonderful Spanish sunshine.
There are plush different seating areas outside. One area with table chairs and bbq..perfect for warm evenings if you are staying in. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you require, even it's own ice making facilities.
There is a supermarket on site that is very well stocked. The golf club house on site serves beautifully prepared food and drinks.
The local towns are a short drive away & offer fantastic restaurants with varied international cuisine. There are lovely beaches around the coast too. We enjoyed exploring new places and were never disattisfied with service. We got a train to Murcia, travelled to Cartagena for an afternoon, all within easy reach.
We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Catherina Joan and we have already booked for next year...Looking forward to discovering more and also spending relaxing days by the pool in total tranquility in 2019. Perfect.

We're a family of four with two children under the age of twelve. We booked a weeks stay at Catherine Joan for the end of July 2017. The villa was fantastic, well equipped, spacious, modern and set on a secure resort. Couldn't fault the property and would definitely return. Would recommend hiring a car so you can explore the surrounding area.

absolutely fantastic
Just returned from casa catherina joan at El valle golf course Murcia with my partner, had 10 wonderful chilled out days in a beautiful villa which was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need for a home from home stay. A fab pool and patio area plenty of relaxing seating areas with bbq and a ping pong table. The villa is set on a very well maintained and secure golf course with fab views all around the site. We will definitely be booking a return visit. A big thank you to the owners, what a great way to relax for 10 days came back totally chilled.

luxury, quietitude, secluded estate spring to mind
Stayed at this villa in murcia region of Spain with my son's family . Had a wonderful time as this villa was immaculate with most facilities thrown in . Spacious rooms, swimming pool, barbecue. You name it. Be prepared to be in a secluded estate which is fully guarded. All links to nearby towns are by car. Need to be a good, sharp sighted driver on rhs of the road especially at night. Back to villa, it was good size, well laid out providing privacy to each family, excellent bathrooms, endless supply of towels. Typical Spanish towns , many within an hour's drive make this place a ideal location to see other side (south east Spain). Occasionally it felt we had landed on planet Mars.

An excellent relaxing stay!!
We had a lovely relaxing stay at this villa which is like a home from home. It is very nicely decorated and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay enojyable including board games, books, DVDS and a playstation.
Very comfortably furnished and the children spent hours in the pool and playing table tennis.
The owner was very helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had, we were even able to have a late check out, a real bonus!!
We would highly recommend this villa and are definately going to be making a return booking in the not too distant future.

Very nice villa
Spent one week at this Villa at the beginning of August. It is a very nice well decorated villa although we did not spend a lot of time inside. The air conditioning was a bonus as we spent most of the day and evening outside it was nice to come into cool bedrooms.
The outside area was adequate and the kids loved the table tennis, we played it often even though it was hot. There was plenty of seating areas in the sun or shade. We used the barbecue most nights and ate outside for every meal. The only problem that I found with that was the glass tables for eating your meals or sitting enjoying a drink, they got marked very quickly and were difficult to keep clean. Swimming pool fantastic, kids loved it and was big enough to splash around or lie on lilo. Our daughter arrived before us and felt it could have been explained better exactly where key was. Also we also did not realise that there was a Spar shop on the complex which would have been helpful for when we first got their. Maybe could be e mailed to people prior to their arrival. All in all it is a lovely villa and we had a very relaxing week.

Brilliant villa
Hi Just got back from spending 11 nights at this villa.Its amazing ! 2 adults one teenager and 2 children under 7 and it had everything for all. The pool was the main source of entertainment several times a day in the wonderful spainish heat. The pool had visits from the guys who clean the pool early in the morning which kept it clean and fresh. The villa had all the mod cons , tv and play station for the quiet moments when rest was needed in the aircon lounge in the heat of the day. The shop is well stocked for everything and the club house has entertainment each night through the summer and we enjoyed the childrens evening. A car is needed for the area as the complex is located a 20 minute drive to the nearest town and beaches where the spainish go. We did not see any buses going past the complex .This villa is ideal for for families, and couples, very safe within a gated complex and each individual villa has a pool. The villa is great as we found, to relax and keep a watchful eye on the children in the pool without the madness of the usual package holiday which we have done in the past where you are constantly looking out for where the children are. I would highly recommend this villa ...quality and relaxation

Fabulous Villa
A stunning villa, everything you could possibly need was there including general storecupboard supplies, all the kitchen equipment and utensils you need. The villa itself was wonderfully spacious and clean, plenty of areas outside to sit in the sun or shade. Outside BBQ area was great, we cooked most nights on this. Only 20 mins from San Javier/Murcia airport and a big supermarket that sold everything you would need for the BBQ including fresh meat and fish. Would definately return next year. Thanks for a great holiday.

Fantastic villa, Great area. Not just for golfing
We have been here quite a few times now and will keep coming back, The location is great for us, 20 minutes from Murcia airport and only an hour from Alicante. The villa has everything you may possibly need, It is spacious and open plan with plenty of outdoor space as well. The furnishings are comfortable and well maintained. All 3 bedrooms are spacious enough, We go in the cooler months and have found the pool heating a massive bonus. There are plenty of English TV channels including sports and many books available to read along with music and DVDs. Having WI-FI in the villa is a huge advantage for those who cant live without Facebook and candy crush (my wife). The Mar Menor area is only 20 minutes drive as are several shopping centres. Golfing is not our thing but the available facilities are first class, The onsite shop is well stocked and the gym has all you need to work off those extra calories. There are many many restaurants within the local area. For those that require some extra excitement we have found plenty of go karting places, a few adventure parks with quad biking, archery, air rifle, mountain biking etc all available within a 45 minute drive of the villa. All this on top of all the water activities available on the Mar Menor beaches.

Wonderful Villa
Wonderful Villa with a fab pool and an excellent place to relax and enjoy the sun. It's a short journey from Murcia airport and very easy to find. I stayed at Casa Catherina Joan at the end of October / beginning of November this year and the weather was fantastic! The Villa is contemporary, modern and spacious, maintained to a very high standard, spotlessly clean and it has everything you would want to enjoy your holiday. The heated pool was fab, the terrace was a great place to relax in the sun and the outside dining area was a lovely area to enjoy a BBQ in the evening. The villa is ideal for families, groups or the obvious golf enthusiast (Like myself!). The El Valle golf complex is just fantastic, the course is really good, in excellent condition and there are some great practice facilities. The full English at the club house comes highly recommended, as well as enjoying a cool post round beer with great views over looking the course and it's also a nice place to eat at night. There are also some restaurants a short journey away in places like Roldan, where you can enjoy a nice Chinese, Indian or Italian meal, I believe there are some nice beaches close by but the golf and the villa was so good I didn't get the chance to visit them. I highly recommend this villa and looking forward to going back soon!

El Valle has everything you need, whether you are looking for a family holiday in the sun, a romantic break or a golfing trip. The Clubhouse restaurant and bar, supermarket and gym provide all the important amenities.
For the golfers, the El Valle Nicklaus golf course meets every possible need. It is a superb 18 hole course that is great for both beginners and experts, and there are various courses nearby should you require a change of scenery!

How to get there
From San Javier (Murcia) Airport follow signs to Murcia and the c3319. Follow the c3319 for approx 15km, once you pass Polaris Worlds La Torre Golf Resort on the left hand side, look for a sign on the right hand side 'Urbanization El Valle' (look for a tall 'El Valle' advertising sign). Take this exit where you will shortly come to a roundabout, take the second exit, this road will take you down an avenue of trees to the security main entrance barrier (use the 'residents' side).
From Alicante Airport follow the sign for Murcia/Cartagena A7. After approx 20km take the exit for Cartegena AP7. Follow the Ap7 for approx 60km (this will take you through 2 Tolls which cost approx 2.95 euros) and then take the exit sign posted C3319. Follow the c3319 for approx 15km and once you pass Polaris Worlds La Torre Golf Resort on the left hand side, look for a sign on the right hand side 'Urbanization El Valle' (look for a tall 'El Valle' advertising sign).
