Lovely place
Perfectly located, fully equipped for a short stay, comfortable beds (double rather than a king size though), clean. The best bit is the roof terrace. It faces east, so no sunsets but great moon rises and a very wide and far reaching view. Could have stayed up there for ever. Jose is very welcoming and I would definitely stay there again.

Stay in Madrid made Easy
Location is fantastic - 5 to 10 mins from everything you need. Shops, Restaurants, Bars and the main square have allot of action is. The Host Jose Manuel is a very nice gentlemen and very accommodating. Offers you any help you may require during your stay, the apartment is already supplied with tea, coffee, spices to cook and you are ready to go. There are food supplies all around if you want to cook, and if we return to Madrid, we will most certainly book here and say Hi to Jose.
By the way, the views from the Terrace are fabulous

Great spot!
Heel fijn appartement met een geweldig dakterras in een rustige wijk vol eetttentjes, pleintjes en barretjes. Op loopafstand van de musea maar ook van het Palacio Real, de Francisco en Alumeda kathedralen en metrostation. Extra pluspunt is de hele vriendelijke en hulpvaardige eigenaar voor wie geen moeite teveel is om het je maar de zin te maken.

Beautiful apartment, perfectly situated.
Atico Latina is a really lovely apartment - it's bright and clean, well equipped, has comfortable beds, and a wonderful roof terrace. The owner is friendly and helpful and has made sure that there is a huge range of leaflets, maps etc to help you find your way around the city. The apartment is situated close to many of Madrid's attractions, and although there are two metros nearby, we walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return some time. Many thanks to Jose Manuel.

Traumurlaub in Madrid
Die Ferienwohnung bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist mit einem Aufzug zu erreichen. Der Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend und immer darauf bedacht, dass wir alles haben.
Wer im Zentrum der Stadt wohnt, der muss mit viel Tourismus und Partystimmung rechnen. Unweit des Plaza Mayor ist alles gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Metro Puerto de Toledo ist ca. 400 Meter von der FW entfernt. Von der Metro Opera ist es nicht weit zum Plaza Oriente, Palacio Real, Almudena Kathedrale, Temple de Debod, Teleferico oder Sol, Gran Via, Plaza de Cibeles und der Retiro Park. Jeden Sonntag ist der Trödelmarkt El Rastro, ein Muss. Mitbringsel am besten dort kaufen. Im Viertel Latina lohnt es sich in die kleinen Seitenstraßen zu gehen. Für eine Hauptstadt ist Madrid relativ preiswert. Lebensmittel kauft man u. a. im DIA.
Eine normale Fahrt mit der Metro kostet 1,50€. Bei längeren Aufenthalt lohnt es sich die Touristenkarte der Metro zu kaufen. Wir hatten die 7-Tageskarte der Zona A und die kostete 35,40 €. Die Metro fährt auf den meisten Linien alle 4-5 Minuten. Trotz der geringen Zeitabstände sind die Züge tagsüber überfüllt. Achtung: vom und zum Flughafen wird ein Zuschlag von 3 € genommen.

A spacious apartment with a fantastic veranda overlooking the eastern part of the city. As a family with two kids, we were perfectly comfortable in the two-bedroom apartment. There is only one bath but it is spacious and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for making large breakfasts and small dinners. It's a 15 walk to Plaza Mayor, the very heart of the city, and a 15 walk to the Prado, so the location is perfect. Internet was a little slow and it's a shame there's no dryer for the clothes. But the amazing veranda made up for it. The owner was exceedingly helpful with everything, showing us around, preparing materials and information in the apartment, securing cabs, etc. There's an elevator and a doorman and the building and apartment are modern and very clean. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location - Great Apartment and Patio - Go Left
This apartment was clean and really nicely laid out. The Patio was spectacular during the day and even more so at night. Jose was very helpful and kind. Close to almost everything worth seeing and as Jose told us - go left when you leave the apartment building and you will find things to see - restaurants and more. Directly across the street is a green grocer and walk through it is a full grocery store. Perfect! Spectacular City too!

Estupenda estancia
El apartamento está fenomenal. Con todo lo que se necesita. Además dispone de una gran terraza con unas vistas espectaculares. En cuanto a limpieza también era muy buena.
El dueño del apartamento es una persona muy agradable y dispuesta. Nos informó con celeridad de todas nuestras dudas y nos dejó a nuestra disposición un montón de información.
Todo perfecto. Como pega indicar que la habitación de matrimonio dá a la calle y por la noche se oye muchísimo ruido, tanto de personas como de tráfico.

From airport is possible to get taxi (fast option, 20-30 min.), metro (best option, 60-75 min. In metro Puerta de Toledo: exit the tube station take the street right up.), bus or train. The price of taxi from the airport is 30 € (flat rate) for 4 people. It is possible to buy the tickets for public transport in the airport. Below I indicate some links explaining how to get.
