We had a wonderful time and great experiences. Apartment was in a great location and Pablo, the owner, was wonderful. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!

We were completely happy and satisfied with our long stay here in Pablo's apartment. in a secure building It is a nice walk to El Prado and the museum district, to shopping at El Corte Englés. Numerous shopping opportunities. More than half-a-dozen small book stores within walking district. Short walks to both the subway and rail systems. A fantastic local near almost everything one would want to be near to! tim

What a beautiful place to stay in Madrid. Pablo's apartment is stylish, clean, quiet and very very lovely. It has everything you need and is a 5 minute walk from Colon metro and about a 10-15 minute walk to the Prado museum. Pablo has thought of everything, every little detail, and we loved staying here. Perfect.

Traveling with a teenager, we appreciate a little space. We got that and much more! The location was great—easy Metro access and walking distance to restaurants, museums, and parks. We even had our own concierge service through our host, Pablo, who provided good advice and directions, as well as welcoming touches (like supplies for our first breakfast!). The apartment is lovely, with all of the conveniences. We would recommend without hesitation!

If you’re looking for the perfect location to have easy access to all of Madrid then this is it. The apartment is located one block from Plaza Colon and several blocks from the Metro providing easy access to any part of Madrid. The subway is clean, safe and easy to navigate anywhere you like. I’d recommend stops in La Latina and Grand Via for some terrific shoppings options, as well as food. Or, head to Opera to see all that Plaza Mayor offers. Mercado San Miguel is a MUST visit to sample food of all kinds!! As for the apartment, it was clean and Pablo graciously provided some welcome snakcks in the refrigerator. I would gladly stay there again. Be sure to scope out some great places in the neighborhood including; an awesome bakery, small grocery store a wine shop and several excellent restaurants like Banaras (Indian) and The Pink Monkey (Asian-Fusion). It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful apartment with all the conveniences of home. Every detail was thought of by our host. A wonderful place to stay and we would definitely stay again next time we are in Madrid!

Apartment is in a safe, up-market area of Madrid which was quiet and yet close to the metro, bus tour, cafes snd restaurants. The perfect spot. All our needs were catered for including a very comprehensive welcome pack, slippers, dressing gowns, washing products and toiletries. We were very impressed. The smart TV allowed us to watch Netflix when we needed to chill. The beds were comfortable and the aircon allowed for a refreshing sleep. A truly fabulous stay... thank you.

We highly recommend this fabulous apartment! My husband and I were travelling by AVE from Valencia to Madrid for a few days specifically to visit the Joaquín Sorolla museum. Pablo, the owner was quick to respond to my email and provided us with great directions on getting from Atocha train station to the apartment. From the moment Pablo met us and showed us into his apartment we knew we were going to love our stay in Madrid. We arrived to a warm welcome, Pablo gave us a tour of the apartment and showed us how everything works. We really appreciated the generous 'Welcome Pack' of coffee, herbal teas, fruit, bread, milk, yoghurt, even eggs! The building and entrance are very clean, there is an elevator if required, the apartment is on the first floor. It was impeccably clean, spacious, charming and stylish, tastefully decorated with interesting art objects; we loved the lamps! There is plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage, really comfortable bed, the shower has great water pressure and plenty of toiletries, there is a washing machine with washing supplies. I just loved the clothes line - I felt like a true madrileña hanging out our washing! The kitchen is well equipped and generously stocked with spices, oil, vinegar. There are a couple of supermarkets 5-10 minute walk away, and a delicious patisserie Mama Framboise. Wi-fi connection was fast, fantastic music collection, DVDs, and books to relax with after a long day's sightseeing. We felt like we lived there, it was all so comfortable we didn't want to leave. Madrid is a wonderful city, with so much to see and do. Pablo's apartment is well located in a quiet and upmarket residential street, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes in the surrounding streets. There are easy connections via metro, the Colón and Alfonso Martinez stops are just 5-10 minutes away, but you can walk to all places of interest. Pablo is a gracious, kind and charming host with an extensive knowledge of Madrid and its distinct areas. He provided us with detailed maps and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and cafes. At the end of our stay he organised our taxi to the airport. Thank you Pablo for the apartment and for making it a wonderful stay. We loved it! We highly recommend this apartment to anybody planning a visit to Madrid.
