The apartment is super spacious and great for groups. It is in an ideal location on the main street in Madrid which means getting around to see the sites is very easy to do as they are all within walking distance of the apartment.

Not so spectacular.
This attic/apartment is beautiful and could be spectacular if everything that was advertised had been fulfilled. Air conditioning in every room was a priority to us. On our arrival we were informed that the air conditioner in the main living area and in two of the bedrooms were not functional because the workers had failed to reinstall two of them on Friday, and that one was broken. The owner responded quickly and had the building manager bring us some fans and a portable air conditioner that didn’t put out any cold air. With very high ceilings and suffocating heat they didn’t do anything but move the hot air around. They finally did come and hook up two of the air conditioners on Monday that were functional by late afternoon but that didn’t help as every time they ran a fuse would blow and all the lights would go out. The other major drawback was the terraces and the view. There is major renovation work going on on the building and the scaffolding blocked any view that there might have been. When I asked the owner for a credit towards the rent his response was no and that we could have knot stayed there. That might have been an option if we were made aware ahead of time but finding housing for 13 people made it prohibitive. I would recommend this place but before booking make sure that everything is functional.

All these comments of this guest are obviously exaggerated, the only thing she wanted was for us to return money, since she arrived at the apartment she looked for absurd things to complain about, like the things she adds here. All of the rooms in this apartment are air conditioned and work perfectly.
