Two-bed, one bathroom period apartment (1-b) with original features and stylish street balcony. Great location just a few blocks easy walk to Paseo de Gràcia - with the Gaudi buildings of la Pedrera, Casa Batlló, the emblematic street la Rambla and the Sagrada Familia, amongst other beautiful sites.
This apartment (1-b) is one of two luxury apartments that we have in the same building which are perfectly located in an upmarket street in the heart of the Eixample district within the Quadrat D'or (the Golden Square) of central Barcelona.
We welcome stays from couples, families (there is a cot) and cruise visitors. There is a limit of 4 adults for comfort reasons.
It is within comfortable walking distance of most top popular tourist sites such as the Gaudi modernist architecture of La Ped...

A perfectly-located, beautiful refuge
What a great find! You won't regret booking this lovely apartment in Barcelona.
Owner Isabel is easy and pleasant to work with in this very well-situated apartment, walkable to so many of the city's major sites, including Las Ramblas, the Block of Discord, La Sagrada Familia, and the Gothic Quarter. Yet it's just enough removed from the beaten path to provide a safe and private refuge from your day.
The apartment is clean, spacious, modern, and nicely decorated. It's nicely equipped and comes with dishwasher, washer/dryer and elevator. You can find an excellent grocery story just around the corner in this beautiful neighborhood.
I would return here in a heartbeat.

Great location, nice neighborhood
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming Apartment in for our family holiday.
It had all the ammenties we needed for a family traveling with 2 teenage daughters. The elevator, although small, was super helpful with our luggage.
Isabel was so helpful giving us suggestions in the area, provided a book with directions and emergency numbers. She was so sweet to stock the fridge with a few essentials such as wine, water, juice and milk. It was helpful to have grocery market was around the corner, and coffee shops and restaurants in neighborhood.
We walked to most of Barcelona from this apartment and felt very safe.
The view from the balconies was charming, and the floors were so unique!

Wonderful apartment in a central location
What a perfect place for our week in Barcelona. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and convenient. We loved opening the large windows in the evening after a day of sightseeing and enjoying the cool breeze and street sounds. We appreciated the clothes washer and dryer. Isabel was so helpful with suggestions before and during our stay. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect gem in the heart of Barcelona
The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located for walking to many of the local attractions including La Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas and lots of local eateries. The apartment is clean, modern and on a quiet street which is important as one of the bedrooms has a balcony that looks out onto the street. It has a small elevator which is convenient for getting luggage upstairs and for those with mobility concerns. Our host Isabelle was gracious enough to meet us early and provided a booklet filled with information on local attractions, food and feedback from previous guest. She also stocked the refrigerator with a few basics such as water, juice and wine. The next time I stay in Barcelona, I'll definitely seek to stay here again. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in Barcelona. Many Mahalos to Isabelle for being such a wonderful host and opening her home to me and my friends.

Chic apartment in great location
We had a super time here. The flat is accurately shown in the photos on TripAdvisor and is of a very good standard. Isabel is a kind and welcoming host. Easy walking distance to almost everywhere- didn’t need the Metro cards we bought! Recommended

Perfect Barcelona Apartment
Wonderful apartment with air and an elevator, built in the 19th century with all the ambiance of Barcelona. Beautifully tiled floors that are original, new kitchen & bathroom. Close enough to the action of Las Ramblas, but on a quiet street with a really nice restaurant, so you get the best of both worlds.

Great Flat, Location
Isabel was amazing meeting us when we arrived with keys and to show us everything. Nice apartment and great location. She had book of places to see and recommended places to eat. Just absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend you stay here!!

About the neighborhood
You would be staying right in the heart of Barcelona in a building occupied by Catalan residents. The apartment is in a very safe area in the heart of the Eixample district, the Quadrat d'Or (The Golden Square) of central Barcelona just a few blocks from areas such as Passeig de Gràcia, Rambla de Catalunya and Plaza Catalunya. The entire area surrounding the apartment building is full of beautiful modernist buildings influenced by the modernist architects, chief among whom was Antoni Gaudi. The apartment is peaceful at night and at weekends.
Getting around
A car is of little use in Barcelona city - it's an easy city to walk around and public transport is excellent.

How to get there
From the Airport terminals "el Prat":
You have three options from Barcelona (bcn) airport. The shuttle bus, the train or the taxi.
A taxi will whisk you directly to the door in about 20-25 minutes (traffic dependent). You pick up a taxi by joining the taxi rank queue in front of your arrival terminal.
The queues can appear long at peak times, but there are plenty of taxis and the queue moves very quickly. You shouldn’t have to wait for more than about 5 minutes, if at all.
The Aerobus is the Barcelona Airport express shuttle bus that takes you to and from the airport and the city centre.
The journey time from Barcelona Airport to Plaça de Catalunya is approximately 35 minutes depending on traffic conditions, allow and extra 5-10 minutes to get to the apartment.
The Renfe train service runs approximately every 30 minutes to and from Barcelona airport to the nearest station "Passeig de Gràcia". Travel time approximately 35-40 minutes, allow and extra 10-15 minutes to get to the apartment.
From the Cruise terminals:
The ports are at the foot of La Rambla (barcelona's most famous Boulevard, also often referred to as Las Ramblas) which runs through the heart of the city centre.
It should only take you around 20 minutes taxi ride from the port, traffic-dependent of course.
From the central Train station "Sants":
By taxi should only take you around 20 minutes from Sants, traffic dependent of course.
From destination by Car:
There is no permanent reception at the apartment building so please let me know by phoning/texting the number when supply about one hour before reaching Barcelona.
