The Dairy (sleeps 4 to 6 + cot) THE DAIRY is a detached 5* cottage directly overlooking beautiful rolling Devon countryside with 2 large super-king bedrooms, both with immaculate en-suite facilities. If required, one of the bedrooms can be configured as 2 or 3 single beds and the lounge also has a good quality settee-bed if needed. (Please let us know your preference when you book). As the name suggests, the Dairy has been converted and now represents a luxurious and characterful holiday destination for our clients within the grounds of the 17th century Redyeates Farm. As the name suggests, the Dairy has been converted and now represents a luxurious and characterful holiday destination for our clients within the grounds of the 17th century Redyeates Farm. The Dairy is a certain place for a relaxing time and has plenty to keep the children amused within our 3 acre gardens including our own recently resurfaced all-weather tennis court, table tennis, football, ultra-safe quality trampoline (no springs) and fantastic children's climbing frame. The accommodation is all ground level so it is easy if there are any mobility issues or there are any concerns regarding children and stairs. One of the bedrooms has a walk-in shower. Redyeates Farm is in mid-Devon in one of the best locations for getting to either the north or south coastline and is just 12 miles from either of the National Parks at Exmoor and Dartmoor. Locally there are some very good pubs and restaurants. Taxis and babysitting can easily be arranged in advance. If you like great days out, Redyeates Farm is well placed for easy access to everything that Devon has to offer without having to spend all day in the car. Our changeover day is a Friday. Outside of peak season we can be more flexible and operate a minimum 3 nights on weekends (Fri-Mon) and 4 nights during the week (Mon-Fri). If you require something slightly different, please make contact and we will see if we can accommodate your needs. If you require a slightly larger property (sleeps 8-10) check to see if our Redyeates Barn is available (Property ID 529618).More

Although remote, you have everything you need as a welcome hamper is provided together with an honesty shop. So no need to venture out if you want a chillaxing break.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Many of our customers have commented about how much there is for the children here as a lot of the places they have been to say they are 'child friendly', but they don't include things like books,...More

About the neighborhood
There is a lot to do nearby and the property is surrounded by a huge variety of attractions and depending on what you like, there is something for everyone within a short distance. Close by, there are pubs with good food, a fantastic farm shop for local produce as well as places to walk, cycle or horse ride. In Bickleigh (10 minutes), is a beautiful Devon village with many thatched cottages, a 400 year old pub, the Devon Railway centre and 'The Fisherman's Cot', a great pub to sit outside by the river. Bickleigh Mill has an 18th century working water wheel, a woodland, waterside walks and a maze and The Trout is another traditional pub with a beautiful thatched roof. The Mill also has a large shop with gifts, clothing, pottery and crafts and there is an excellent Bistro restaurant and ba...
