Wonderfully situated
A stylish apartment that met all of our needs. Handy to everything in town with plenty of options for shopping and dining literally just around the corner. The kitchen needed some more equipment but we managed. The lack of a lift to the first floor is a negative, but the only one.

Bright, comfortable apartment in perfect location.
We really enjoyed staying in Laurent's Lyon apartment. The furnishing was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed. Directions for every appliance and the TV were written out in clear English. Laurent had also put together a very useful book of good shops, restaurants and other important information. The apartment is right in the heart of the city, very near the Saone River and all its views. One can easily walk across the bridge to the old town. The apartment was also very close to local transit. Laurent was always available if we needed help with anything. Two things to keep in mind if you are thinking of booking this apartment, is that being in the centre of the city, often the noise outside could be loud if the windows were open. However, once the windows were closed you could hardly hear a thing. Also, the apartment is on the 1st floor and the lift does not stop here. It's not a big climb, but people who have trouble with stairs may have difficulties. If we have the opportunity to return to Lyon we would try to book this apartment again.

Everything we wanted!
Every aspect of our experience was excellent. The apartment is centrally located in Presqu'ile near a large square with many restaurants as well as City Hall and the Musee des Beaux Arts; it's a short walk to Vieux Lyon with its many attractions.
The apartment itself was spacious and bright; the kitchen and bathroom have been modernized and were both fully functional; the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard space; there was no problem with outside noise.
Overall, there was nothing we lacked and we would certainly return.

Extraordinarily wonderful
We are staying in this wonderful apartment for 6 nights and could not ask for anything better. Laurent, the owner,met us at the apartment and explained everything. A very useful booklet is provided. We have found the restaurants suggested to be delightful.
The apartment is spotlessly clean, has a very nice authentic ambience to it and is extremely well set up in terms of utensils and appliances. Having a washing machine is a very welcome addition.
Location wise it is brilliant and in a very central, attractive and convenient part of Lyon.
Thank you Laurent for providing such a wonderful and comfortable apartment.

Excellent location and very spacious apartment
The apartment was ideally located within walking distances to major sites. Laurent has equipped the apartment extremely well with every you may need including the most comprehensive guide to Lyon we have experienced. It deserved its own Michelin star! We also appreciated the washing machine/dryer! Laurent spoke excellent English too. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Lovely base to explore Lyon
We spent two nights in Laurent's lovely apartment. It is large, spacious and very well equipped. Right in the heart of the city, it was a fine base to explore Lyon. Despite the noise and excitement of the city all around the apartment, with the big windows shut, it was extremely peaceful and quiet in the apartment.

Spacious, well located, well equpped apartment.
Centrally located between the two rivers that enabled pedestrian access to all the main tourist attractions of Lyon including Vieux Lyon, the markets of Croix Rousse and the Musee des Beaux-Arts this apartment hit the spot.
The kitchen was very well equipped and included a helpful collection of basic needs such as oil and vinegar, ground coffee, sugar and herbs to name a few. There is a washing machine too.
A good supermarket and a boulengerie were literally around the corner as were a number a restaurants.
The most outstanding feature as mentioned in other reviews was the beautifully thought out and comprensively set out booklet describing where to find practically anything and separate notes on how to work all the appliances. Of particular use was Laurent’s list of nearby restaurants that he personally recommended. We found L’Ebullition at 12 rue Lanterne excellent.
Being on a busy street in the heart of town the street was a extremely noisy if the windows were open but quite silent when they were closed. The only issue was that the weather was quite warm, possibly unseasonable so for June, and the apartment was uncomfortably warm.
I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Stylish comfortable apartment
Laurent’s apartment in the centre of Lyon is very comfortable. Our host was very helpful and provided a comprehensive detailed guide of Restaurants and other locations. It is suituated close to the old city.

A hidden gem of an apartment centrally located to access all of Lyons sights.
Laurent lives in the building and met us on arrival. Great host. Apartment is in a very old building in central Lyon, walking distance to everything. Supermarket around the corner, bus stop out the front, restaurants at every turn. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed with high ceilings, nice kitchen,and large full height windows that we mostly left open to let the sounds of the city in. Enjoyed our week long stay in Lyon immensely. Merci Laurent. Tony
