Interaction with guests
We provide a bottle of bubbly and some simple breakfast items, as well as coffee and tea, to make settling in easier. Some logs for the wood burner are provided, but for further supplies we will agree a small charge. We live next door, so can be on hand if required. There is plenty of information about local attractions and activities, and we can recommend places if required. For those attending local weddings, we can occasionally offer transport, or order a reliable taxi.

About the neighborhood
This is a rural village, in a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty.
Bigger towns are in easy reach, and the city of Chester is of historic interest, as well as being particularly beautiful.
We have the mountains of Snowdonia and also the beaches of the north wales coast as well as the island of Anglesey close by.
A short trip to Holyhead makes ferry travel to Ireland an option too. Daytrips to Dublin are possible.
Getting around
The best way to get around the area is by car. There is some public transport, but not that flexible. Trains to major centres are reliable. Best connection from Prestatyn.
Car advised
How to get there
The nearest airports are Manchester and Liverpool, both about 1 hours drive away. Trains via Chester to Prestatyn are the nearest option. Taxis or pick up by arrangement.
GPS LL16 4DG next door to our home for key collection. Call mobile on arrival. If unsure, stop by the church - our house is next to the church.
