The residence is hidden behind a curtain of umbrella pines and palm trees, on the waterfront of Mandelieu La Napoule, in one of the most beautiful places in the bay of Cannes. Access to the residence is with an electronic badge through a double lock. An elevator takes you to the second floor where the apartment is located. The residence is hidden behind a curtain of umbrella pines and palm trees, on the waterfront of Mandelieu La Napoule, in one of the most beautiful places in the bay of Cannes. Access to the residence is with an electronic badge through a double lock. An elevator takes you to the second floor where the apartment is located. Upon entry, you reach an open, new and well equipped kitchen. It's very convenient to immediately put down the victuals you have just bought at local merchants to prepare a nice salad or a more elaborate meal. In the kitchen you will find new quality appliances: a real oven + a microwave oven, an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge ... Together with many handy utensils: Nespresso coffee machine, Italian coffee maker (French press), toaster, electric kettle ... The kitchen is part of an open living area that includes a comfortable sofa and a beautiful rectangular table specially made for us by a cabinetmaker. A nice flat screen provides access to a variety of television programs, including international. The internet connection in the apartment will allow you to stay in touch with family and friends but also to prepare your daily program. The large window bay lets the sun in and gives a view of the marina and the sea. There you have access to the double covered terrace. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed (160 x 200 cm). It is also a linen chest bed that easily lifts to access a spacious storage space (for your travel bag or suitcase for example). The bedroom has another large window with direct access to the terrace. Two closets with hanging space let you organize your belongings. This is very practical for an extended stay ... The bathroom en suite opens to the bedroom. In reality, it is no longer a bathroom. We removed the existing bathtub to replace it with a spacious shower, much more convenient and also safer for people who have some difficulties to move. A washing machine with an inetgrated dryer equipment makes good service for longer stays. The toilets are independent and have a vanity. Access is directly from the living area without going through the room. The apartment is fully air conditioned with a heat pump that also provides efficient heating in winter if necessary. A spacious 11 sqm terrace (120 sft) is facing the sea, the marina, the beach and the castle. In this part of the French Riviera the climate is very mild and most of the year the terrace is a real extra living room. You will see that even in winter, from December to February, it is not uncommon to have lunch on the terrace. The terrace is sheltered and equipped with electric blinds. To get to the beach, you only have to get out of the residence and cross the land-plain and pines ... The marina and castle are right here! You can stroll on the docks, rent a boat for the day or take a regular boat to the Lérins Islands, Cannes, and everywhere along the coast. Restaurants and shops are a 3 minute walk. What about parking? Regarding parking there are many free places available along the avenue and even right in front of the residence. Except in peak Summer time you will almost always find some free space available just in front of the residence to park the car for the night. There is also a free parking near the station in the village center (a 250 meters walk). As well as a large free car park opposite the casino (500 meters, with always space available). And finally, on the harbor, right in front of the residence, there is the pay guarded parking of the marina (almost never full). The newest info is that we now bought a private underground parking box. Unfortunately the space is narrow as walls were build left and right of it to make it a kind of garage. This would then work for small cars only, like Fiat 500 or Smart, or anyone with a maximum width of 1,67 m. I have a list of the cars matching that maximum width. There is a high demand for that kind of cars because they are also the best to explore the narrow roads and small villages uphill but also find parking space in the cities to be visited. Car rental companies usually try to upgrade the client with a bigger car. Of course, such an upgrade should not be accepted here. Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: FR11441666252

Interaction with guestsAs we are living quite far away we organised everything for you to enjoy your stay: plenty of information available in the apartment. Our housekeeper is available just in case. Please note that our underground garage is accessible to small cars only. Precise measurements available on request. Otherwise there is plenty of free parking space in the area and in front of the residence.

Loved it. The host went above & beyond to make sure our stay was perfect & his enthusiasm is infectious. The location also perfect. Apartment is central, near the bus & train & ferry & taxi!! A huge choice of restaurants & at least 3 places to get your croissants in the morning. There was a night market below us till midnight one evening & we expected noise. There was a wonderful atmosphere & buzz then once the shutters were closed we couldn’t hear a thing!!! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartment & would love to stay again. Thank you so much Jean-Paul .

Lovely week at the Port
We came here in advance of Ironman Nice to prepare and do some training. This turned out to be perfect for us with access to the beach across the road for swims, cycling and running along the coast. This location is very well served with restaurants galore and a short walk to the village shops and train station. The apartment itself is compact with all the equipment you need and a lovely terrace.

Schönes Appartement immHerzen von Mandelieu
Die Wohnung liegt direkt gegenüber dem Hafen. Grosse Fenster mit einem schön eingerichteten Balkon bieten eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Marina. Das Appartement ist mit hellen Möbel hergerichtet, sie ist sehr funktional und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Viele liebliche Details machen die Wohnung zu einem gemütlichen Lebensort. Mehrere Strände sind über kurze wunderschöne Spaziergänge zu erreichen. Restaurants sowie kleine Geschäfte mit lokalen frischen Lebensmittel liegen direkt um die Ecke. Die Epicerie vom Restaurant Oasis bietet leckere Croissants, sowie wunderbare Konditoreien. (zb. den Saint-Honoré, absolut empfehlenswert). Der Bahnhof liegt nur einige Gehschritte entfernt und bietet Fahrten in alle anliegenden Städte. Ausflüge mit dem Schiff sollten ausserdem auf der Urlaubsliste nicht fehlen.

Fantastic apartment 5 star+++++
This apartment has everything you could possibly want in a perfect position overlooking the harbour. The owner was in contact straightaway when I ever asked about anything. The wine in the fridge was lovely touch and have to say all the extra things that are possible needed. The quilty of all furniture and fittings is of a very high standard bed was extremely comfortable. Balcony has beautiful seating area then table and chairs to eat meals and watch ever changing views. We spent hours on the balcony. There is a very large supermarket 20 minutes walk away and the shopping trolley was used and we were thankful for it.There is also a smaller supermarket 5 minutes walk away with bakery shops ,fruit and chicken shops. This is the best appartment we have ever stayed in and I am fussy we was even given a clean middle Way thro our 2 week stay. Thank you so much will definitely be back and highly recommend

Lovely apartment in an excellent location
We stayed for 2 weeks in this very comfortable apartment. It's very small, but has everything you need, including a stove with convection oven and a washer/dryer combo. It is in a very secure building on the second floor with a balcony directly overlooking the marina and the Mediterranean sea. We did not rent a car, and did not need one as the bus stops right outside . We went into Cannes by bus several times. We arrived by train from Lyon , the station is just a short walk away, with trains to Nice and Menton. The weather was mild, not warm, but perfect for walking along the coast in either direction. There is a wonderful grocery store about 1.5 km and we walked there with the little shopping cart provided, just like the locals. We enjoyed the local restaurants and had a very relaxing vacation.

The Winter time you spent in our apartment was the time of some beautiful events on the French Riviera: Carnaval de Nice, Fête du Citron in Menton, Mimosa Festival in Mandelieu La Napoule. The parade of the Mimosa festival is passing just below our terrace. All year round there are a lot of events all over and especially in Cannes, only 7 kilometers away along the sea shore. The Bus #22 is indeed very practical and useful. The huge supermarket you used to walk to is providing everything. There are also many small shops in the old village of La Napoule, some 300 meters away (nice grilled chicken, yum!). Thank you so much for sharing your experience and be welcome anytime!

Bright and welcoming apartment overlooking the harbour
Wonderful peaceful location with a real village atmosphere. We enjoyed the tastefully decorated apartment, everything you could need was there! The proximity to the train station allowed for daily trips to Cannes,Nice and Monte Carlo to name just a few. We would definitely come and stay again.

Thank you so much for staying with us. Yes this apartment's location is unique. There are plenty of cheaper vacation rentals further back in the city or even in nearby streets. But they do not offer that beautiful view on the sea and all restaurants and shops within short walking distance. When we wanted to buy a vacation apartment on the French Riviera we took a long time to consider plenty of places. Then we found this one. The price per square meter was double than anything else in the city. Then we had to make a choice. Be here at the sea, at the beach, the marina and the castle or get an apartment twice as big further in the town? We thought that a traveller coming from far away would prefer to be in a smaller (but well equipped) apartment in front of the sea with all the nearby amenities rather than in a larger place back in the town. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Be welcome anytime!

A coy sweet home in front of the Napoule port
Very cosy apartment with all amenities, you feel like at home. Perfectly located, in front of the sea and the castle, you are close to Cannes, take a bike and here you are on the Croisette ! A wonderful place to be.

You can stroll on the docks, rent a boat for the day or take a regular boat to the Lérins Islands, Cannes, and everywhere along the coast. Restaurants and shops are a 3 minute walk. All shops are within a 300 meters walk: supermarket, delicatessen, butcher, rotisserie, restaurants, newsagent, pharmacy, post office, florist ...
Getting around
The French Riviera is one of the world in the Summer and you will not be alone on the road. So why waste time and nerves in traffic when it is not needed? We suggest to make the trip by train or plane and rent a car for the days you want to make trips to the backcountry. The apartment boasts a great location and is very easy to access. SNCF Mandelieu La Napoule Train Station is only 200 meters away on the back of the residence (no noise because the track is buried). From this station you can reach all the coast of the French Riviera: Cannes (7 km), Antibes, Nice, Monaco, St Raphael, but also all the small stations in the nearby Esterel mountains. RMK: our underground garage is accessible to small cars only.
