My partner and I stayed at the Lavender apartment 2 years ago and decided to go back this year. We were not disappointed and the apartment was as lovely as we remember it. 58 narrow steps to the top and worth every one for the...More

Additional amenities & feature info
LAVENDER Sleeps 2 Lavender is a fourth floor, loft style, modern apartment. Although Lavender is quite a climb up the winding stairs the 360 degree views of Honfleur, which stretch as far as the famous Pont De Normandie, make the climb well worth the effort! The separate bedroom with its sloping ceiling and skylight has two large single beds which can be made up as a king size double. The open plan L-shaped living/dining and kitchen space consists of a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including dishwasher. The living area has an integrated TV/DVD player with Satellite TV (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, 5, Sky News, CNN, Movies etc) Free wifi and Internet access is also available. I take pride in my apartments and expect them to be of excellent standard. Every effort is made to achieve this by my housekeeper and myself and if there is anything however small that has been overlooked please do not hesitate to contact me while you are in the property so that I can get it rectified for you.

About the neighborhood
Honfleur is far more than a traditional French port, the characteristic Normandy architecture with it's tall merchant houses and sharply pitched slate roofs makes Honfleur a truly unique place. The cobbled streets meander around the ancient harbour which can be traced back to the early Viking period. It rightly remains one of France's top 20 tourist destinations. Everything is accessible by foot; the sandy beach, the beautiful gardens, open air swimming pool, 10 tennis courts and mini/crazy golf; but the real pull of Honfleur are the fantastic selection of restaurants and art galleries. Honfleur is a true gastronomic paradise.
