Dining room with large wooden dining table,with matching china cabinet, and sideboard. The Kitchen which is small but well equipped, leads off from the dining room, with glorious views overlooking the Uzès valley and the countryside beyond - makes it a pleasure to do the washing up!. The Bathroom is a good size and has a bath with overhead shower attachment, hand basin and WC. Very large double bedroom has plenty of wardrobe and storage space.There is a brand new double bed and bedroom furniture with a door that leads onto the glorious sunny spacious terrace with views of the surrounding countryside and a BBQ.

Several great monuments remain from the time of the former Dukedom of Uzès and are located in the centre of the town. The Ducal Palace itself is one of the best-preserved buildings. Dating from the feudal period, it was originally built to fortify the city and protect it against enemies. The City Hall is an elegant 18th Century building with beautiful pillars. The internal courtyard, bounded by porticoes, is worth a look. The famous market (all-day Saturdays and Wednesday mornings) takes place in the beautiful 'Place aux Herbes' surrounded by ancient buildings in the heart of the ancient town.
