We stayed in this apartment as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 x 10 year old boys) for a week at the beginning of December 2019. For first timers in Paris, the location was perfect and enabled us to walk everywhere. The Island is very quaint and quite lovely, and the apartment is surrounded by excellent bakeries, a fabulous ice cream shop (with a lovely owner), and a butcher. Green grocer is just down the road. The apartment is equipped perfectly and can easily accommodate a family with small children. The owner was incredibly easy to deal with (and happily responded to quite a few questions), and his assistant Connie was super friendly and helpful. We would very happily stay here again, and have already recommended the apartment to family and friends.

We loved our stay in this apartment. It was fully equipped, comfortable, and clean. The location was central to so many areas of interest in Paris. The immediate neighborhood was delightful with great cafes, bakeries, shopping, etc. We hope to return next year.

My family and I (self, husband, and two daughters ages 11 and 13) rented this place for ten days in June. It was just about perfect for our needs, with a small kitchenette, a generous bathroom with laundry facilities, a private bedroom, sofa bed and a little loft for one child. The location also could not have been better. Right across a bridge from Notre dame, but a bit quieter than other neighborhoods such as the Marais, Since it was on a small island, older kids could also have the freedom to wander around a little bit.. Phillipe and Connie were very easy to work with too and everything went very smoothly.

The apartment is situated in a stunning location on a quiet street full of character. You will enjoy exploring beautiful Paris from this lovely home from home. Phillipe (the owner) and Connie were great hosts. A real gem - thank you our family of five (three teenagers) loved it.

This lovely apartment, situated in the heart of Paris, was perfect for our family of 5. Located only five minutes walk from Notre Dam and the Metro, in a very safe and friendly neighborhood, surrounded by boutique shops and restaurants. The owners assistant Rebecca met us at there upon arrival and showed us how to use all the amenities, even kindly providing washing liquid for the washing machine, coffee for the coffee machine, they also arranged airport transfers for us. We felt very lucky to be stay there and would highly recommend.

Comfortable apartment in wonderful, picturesque heart of Paris. Everything with this booking -- payment, checking in, checking out -- went very smoothly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our time in our Ile St Louis apartment. Although compact, it is very well set out. Our two teenaged boys managed well- one in the mezzanine bed and the other on the sofa bed. The location could not have been better, with a bakery and fromagerie downstairs and many restaurants nearby. We were just a couple of minutes from Notre Dame and could access most city attractions by foot. The Metro was a few minutes walk away for all other destinations. Ile St Louis is a very special place and we loved every minute of our time there.

I have stayed at a number of apartments on the islands in central Paris, and this one is my favorite. I like having a separate bedroom in the back, where things are quieter (though the front room on the street is quiet as well). An added bonus is that the Boulangerie Martin is one door away, and the fragrance of baking bread is delightful to wake to each morning, as well as the convenience of running just downstairs for fresh pastries for breakfast. There is also a cheese shop just downstairs next to the bakery, and a butcher's shop on the other side. A grocery store is a couple of blocks away. Most unusual, compared to all of the other apartments I have stayed at, is the large bathroom. Philippe and Connie are both very helpful and accommodating. Though I usually take the RER into the city from the airport (and the walk from Notre Dame is easy) I have appreciated using the taxi service that Connie has arranged for me. All in all, this is a wonderful home away from home.

From the minute we threw open the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Rue St. Louis, we knew that #38 was going to be the perfect location for our stay. We found ourselves standing in a sophisticated room with ancients stone wall on one side and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves around a fireplace on the other. The whole apartment was charming and very comfortable The Ile St. Louis is a little jewel--a microcosm of Parisian restaurants, shops, markets, galleries, cafes and salon des glaces--virtually everything we could need for this return trip to Paris. When we forced ourselves off the island, we were quickly in the Latin Quarter or next to the Marais or the Louvre and the rest of the city. Our arrival was made perfect in every way: we found contact with the owner both helpful and friendly; his woman-on-the-spot--Connie--greeted us when we arrived early and graciously showed us all around the apartment. It was spotlessly clean and fitted out with all the necessities to make our stay convenient. We appreciated all the techno features: the TV, the stereo system, the easy internet, as well as the availability of a clothes washing machine. Our neighbors on one side of the entrance were young new owners of a wonderful fromagerie; on the other side, a restaurant that was always full of customers. We were delighted to be on this vivacious street. Couldn't think of a better way to feel like a native than to slip into the entrance and up the winding wooden stairs to this lovely apartment!

Our rental of this lovely apartment was a highlight of our trip to Paris. Located on Ile St Louis, it was only a short walk to Notre Dame, the FranPrix grocery store, the St. Paul Metro station and the #69 bus stop. From the apartment, we walked to the Pantheon, Centre Pompidou, St Chapelle and the Conciergerie. There is very good souvenir shopping in the area and numerous restaurants. The unit is on the second floor which affords incredible views of the action on the street below, yet is very quiet at night when the day trippers leave. In the open plan living/dining/kitchen room, there are two sofas (one that makes into a comfortable double bed) a computer desk, a bookcase wall, a well equipped kitchen with a full frig, a table and chairs for fou,r and several small aplliances. The bedroom has a full bed, night tables and a large closet. The L-shaped bathroom has a modern washing machine and a long counter for folding clothes, a combo tub/shower, and a well lit vaniety/sink area. A loft bed is provided with ladder access, again very comfortable according to our grandchildren with its own fan, but very little head space for teenagers. The large windows all open, provding a breeze and certainly a view. Fans are available in addition for cooling, but weren't required for our visit. The apartment provided basic cooking amenities and coffee; washing up and laundry detergent were also available. The Wi-Fi was excellent at all times. Philippe communicated with us on several occasions throughout the booking process and in follow up inquiries. Connie, his assistant, greeted us on arrival and provided key details concerning the apartment and the building. She is a special person who really cares that the guests have a good stay. We did book the services of Dominique to pick us up at the airport and to take us to the car rental agency at the end of our stay. The prices were cheaper than taxis for the four of us. We did book his services for an early morning lift to the Orsay Museum and to Sacre Coeur, but found these prices of respectively 20 Euros and 30 Euros very steep. However the fault is entirely our own in that we should have just used the Metro for in town transportation. Although he does not speak English, he was very professional and pointed out the key sites to us. We have no hestitation in recommending this apartment for a stay in Paris, especially for a family, as we were, introducing our two 13 year-old grandchildren to Paris.
