A funky apartment in the middle of the Marais.
A great apartment with a very friendly host. Great location, close to the Metro. Be prepared for lots of stairs. We will come again.

Wonderful place to stay
What a wonderful place to stay. Nathalie is fabulous. You could not ask for a better host. She is attentive, respectful and responsive. Her apartment is in the perfect location. It was just ideal for two couples. Highly recommend.

Fantastic apartment in fabulous location
Our family of four (two grown children) stayed here for 5 nights and had the most wonderful time! The apartment is very spacious, so there was plenty of room to spread out, and the balcony was a wonderful bonus. Our host Nathalie was a great communicator leading up to our stay, met us when we arrived and gave us a very thorough grounding of the apartment and the area. She even left us with some wine, and beer because we were Australian!! The area is incredibly central, with a Metro station only steps away, and plenty of shops and restaurants right outside the door. The flat is very charming and homey, and we loved the church bells next door, the beams and the views out of the skylights - we felt like we were in a Wes Anderson movie. Really appreciated the washing machine and heaters to dry our clothes on. Yes, there are a LOT of stairs, and bless my husband for carrying my bag up and down, but I am in no way fit, and I managed just fine. Totally worth it for the view from the balcony and skylights, and for such a safe and homey apartment....and it has the added bonus of justifying that extra croissant. The apartment has a "lived in" feeling that might not appeal to some perfectionists, but we loved it and would definitely stay here again if we were traveling as a family. I don't think you could ask for a better area to be in, or a better host.

Funky Cool Apartment in a wonderful location
We just spent 7 nights in this apartment. We had the very best time. The location is excellent - half a block from the St Paul metro stop in a vibrant, fun neighborhood. Lots of restaurants, wine shops, bakeries near by. Our group of 5 LOVED this apartment. There are fun loft cubbies to sleep in that my teenagers loved. The main bedroom was up a few stairs with gorgeous skylights and beams. The Large sofa was fun for us to sit around and chat about our day. The table is huge - we played games in the morning and my husband worked a few hours a day. The washing machine - and DRYER, worked well. The shower and toilet rooms are separate, which was handy. The balcony was fantastic addition to our trip - we sipped wine and people watched from above. The church next door had a couple of impromptu concerts on their front steps that we thought added to the ambiance. This apartment was a great choice for us. If anyone in your group has mobility issues - this would not be a good fit. It is up 5 floors of steps. The lofts are up ladders. The host, Nathalie was spectacular. I wish I could have spent more time with her. She was helpful - had a huge binder of tips and recommendations on the table, as well as books about Paris and French. She left us wine, pastries & the cupboards were well stocked with everything needed.

Family space and great location
We are a big family with five kids - europe isn’t built for us, but this apartment is! The kids loved the lofts, they were instantly cozy.(ages 11 to 14) The main apartment has a large kitchen, nice big dining table, and a huge living room. We all agreed we could survive comfortably here indefinitely. I gave 5stars and stand by it, however this is an apartment and not a hotel room, so we found plenty of evidence of previous guests in terms of kitchen supplies and sundries. (Eg condiments, spices , dry cereals, and other non-perishables). This was not an issue for us and we used a few things and left a few ourselves. A tad communal, but it fit our style (and, just a guess, but I feel the host’s as well.) Yes there are 99 stairs to climb, but we performed this usually only once per day, and it was great for the kids (and I think it added to their romantic concept of ‘Paris apartment’ lol.) Yes one WC with toilet and sink, and one bathroom with bathtub/shower and sink, but it never seemed to be a problem. (5 females 2males) The location is wonderful - super close to the metro(1 minute), - walk to the seine/pont Marie in 5minutes, - cafes, fruit, grocery, bakeries, restaurants everywhere all along Rue St Antoine - nice views of the street and the cathedral

Localisation parfaite
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cet appartement. La localisation est parfaite en plein centre de Paris et à courte distance de tous les monuments. C'est assez exceptionnel à Paris de trouver un appartement avec terrasse.

Beautiful Space in Great Location
I stayed here in May with my husband and father and had a great time. The apartment was beautiful with a great balcony and the rooms worked great for us. Nathalie was a great host who was kind and gave us great recommendations and even left us a nice bottle of wine when we arrived. The only hiccup we had was that we had a hard time getting in when we first got to the apartment. There wasn't an answer when we tried to buzz in - the house keeper must not have heard us when we buzzed. We had to wait for someone to leave the building so we could go in and up to the apartment and knock on the door. Also, the house keeper didn't speak English at all, but she called Nathalie and we were able to work everything out over the phone. After that, we got our keys with no problem and were able to easily get in and out. There are a lot of stairs which weren't bad for my husband and I, but my older father definitely got winded by the time we reached the top. The location was great, though. We walked nearly everywhere. Couldn't have asked for a better place! Thanks, Nathalie!

Perfect location, great value, several suprises.
First of all, I loved staying here with my family of six, and would do it again. Searching for a good value for six people near the heart of Paris takes a lot of work, but this was a perfect solution for us. It was very reasonably priced, it's in a great neighborhood surrounded by cafe's, shops, and restaurants, and it's only a few blocks from the Seine. Everything was as it is presented in the profile. The good stuff: 1) It's large; plenty of room to spread out in the living room and kitchen. 2) Plenty of sleeping space. 3) The balcony overlooks the street below and has a great view. 4) Again, the location is close to where you want to be. 5) It's the top floor of the building, so there are cool aspects such as beams and lofts and plenty of windows looking out over the roof tops. And there are sky lights above a couple of the beds to look out through at night. 6) The décor is very fun, casual, and whimsical. 7) Washer & dryer included. Full kitchen. 8) It feels very safe. Secure access to the building and a good heavy door to the apartment, as well as a very good neighborhood. 9) It's really a good value, considering space and location. 10) Nathalie was very nice and easy to work with. Things to be aware of: 1) As the profile says, it's the top floor. About 90 steps I think I counted. 2) Two bathrooms, toilet is in one, bathtub/shower is in the other. It was a little awkward at first, but then I realized it actually works well for a large family so one person isn't occupying all of the facilities. 3) All of the beds except one are up in lofts. Again, this is part of the charm with the top floor, skylights, etc. but just know you have a little climbing. It was the perfect place for us; I highly recommend it for familes or large groups, unless you are severely out of shape or would have a hard time climbing a loft ladder/steps to most of the beds. And I almost forgot, there is a very cool surprise right next door!
