We are a big family with five kids - europe isn’t built for us, but this apartment is!
The kids loved the lofts, they were instantly cozy.(ages 11 to 14)
The main apartment has a large kitchen, nice big dining table, and a huge living room. We all agreed we could survive comfortably here indefinitely.
I gave 5stars and stand by it, however this is an apartment and not a hotel room, so we found plenty of evidence of previous guests in terms of kitchen supplies and sundries. (Eg condiments, spices , dry cereals, and other non-perishables). This was not an issue for us and we used a few things and left a few ourselves. A tad communal, but it fit our style (and, just a guess, but I feel the host’s as well.)
Yes there are 99 stairs to climb, but we performed this usually only once per day, and it was great for the kids (and I think it added to their romantic concept of ‘Paris apartment’ lol.)
Yes one WC with toilet and sink, and one bathroom with bathtub/shower and sink, but it never seemed to be a problem. (5 females 2males)
The location is wonderful
- super close to the metro(1 minute),
- walk to the seine/pont Marie in 5minutes,
- cafes, fruit, grocery, bakeries, restaurants everywhere all along Rue St Antoine
- nice views of the street and the cathedral
