Great gite in excellent location
Excellent location for bouldering in a quiet village. Gite overlooks courtyard with good space for parking. Overall a very comfy gite with good facilities, a well equipped kitchen, and a handy lean-to over patio at the front for al fresco dining / bbq. Basically, had everything we need and Jacques was on hand if we needed him. Merci!

belle terrasse
Les propriétaires étaient très bienveillants et disponible. L'endroit est idéal pour se reposer et profiter de la nature. Nous avons bien profité du barbecue et la terrasse ainsi que le grand jardin sans danger pour les enfants.

Rural and rustic
The house was quirky and old fashioned. The courtyard was pretty and there was a large partially enclosed grass area across the courtyard but any children or dogs would need supervision as it is a working farm. (with very big machines at the back)
The house has 2 bedrooms and suggests it can accommodate 7. That would be a challenge with the space in the building and one small bathroom ( with small shower only) and one small separate toilet. It is old fashioned in its provision and style. The beds were okay but not very comfy and the kitchen did have dishwasher and a good selection of pans and pots but lacked the basics like a knife for cutting and a bread knife. There is an old fashioned washing machine in the bathroom, which works well.
It feels like it's stuck in a time warp so far as provision of electrical devises and working lights. It also felt like it had not been used for a while. The beds were made but you'll need towels and tea towels with you. Internet is good but TV only has french and German channels available.
The village itself is rural indeed with nothing other than nice walks into countryside in all directions. So a car is needed for everything. It has got good road links to nearby places and is about 15 mins from the A6. There is a train station 3km away with hourly access to Paris.
So if you want rural, a bit cut off and rustic then this might suit.

Perfect
Fantastic little house in close proximity to all the best bouldering sites. Fully equipped and lovely friendly hosts. Highly recommend for climbing/outdoor trips.

Sehr angenehme und ruhige Ferienwohnung
Die Ferienwohnung ist leicht zu finden und liegt in totaler Ruhelage. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Es gibt eine gute Ausstattung in der Küche und das Wohnzimmer ist angenehm groß mit einem Kamin. Die ganze Wohnung ist in einem schönen ländlichen Stil gebaut und eingerichtet. Im Sommer ist sie angenehm kühl und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Eine Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler sind vorhanden. Als Bonus gibt es noch draussen eine Veranda, an der man frühstücken, Mittagessen und Abendessen kann. Auch ein Griller ist vorhanden. Im Allgemeinen ein sehr positives Erlebnis dort gewohnt zu haben!

Sono ormai diversi anni che torniamo sempre qui in vacanza; gli appartamenti sono ben equipaggiati per qualsiasi necessità, le camere sono spaziose e pulite ed il salone ha uno splendido camino!inoltre è a disposizione lo spazio esterno con il barbecue. i proprietari , Jacques e Monique, sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili.
è il posto ideale per chi , come noi, viene in zona per arrampicare negli innumerevoli siti di boulder nella zona che circonda Fontainebleau, e qui potete anche affittare i crash pad.
Non potrei consigliare un posto migliore!!!

Ruhig und erholsam
Die Unterkunft war gut zu finden da gut angeschrieben. Freundlicher Empfang und Einweisung. Die Instruktion der Wohnung eher etwas knapp. Sauberkeit ok. Wir hätten erwartet, dass die alten Spinnweben an den Decken und Lampen entfernt sind. Auch die Schränke in der Küche waren etwas schmuddelig und wohl schon länger nicht mehr geputzt worden.
Der Innenhof und die Möglichkeit draussen zu sitzen fanden wir sehr schön. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft und auf dem Gut sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren eine Woche zum Bouldern da. Eher etwas weiter weg zu den Hauptgebiten.

Sehr erholsam!
Wir haben das Ferienhaus für einen Aufenthalt in den Osterferien gebucht. Im Ort gut angeschrieben haben wir sofort hingefunden. Der Besitzer zeigte uns alles und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. In einem Zimmer befinden sich 4 Einzelbetten, im anderen 1 Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett. Dazu gäbe es auch einen kleinen Garten, eine Terrasse mit Sitzgarnitur.
Da es kalt war, verbrachten wir jeden Abend vor dem Kamin - sehr gemütlich!
Wir haben alle sehr gut dort geschlafen, das war sehr erholsam!
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bahnhof usw sind im 5km entfernten Nemours. Wir nutzten den stündlich fahrenden Zug nach Paris, gratis Parkplätze vorhanden. Mit dem Auto ist auch das EuroDisney nur etwas über 1 Std. entfernt.
Wir waren zum Bouldern dort, die Gebiete sind mit dem Auto in bis zu 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Gebiete vor Nemours in ein paar Minuten.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und ich würde jederzeit wieder dort wohnen. Die Preise um diese Zeit sind extrem niedrig!
