The Mews is a beautiful grade II listed cottage tucked away off one of the main streets in the centre of town. It has the advantage of having all of the towns amenities on it's doorstep, but has the peace and quiet of a mews property.
The property has an excellent sized lounge with a wood burning stove. Seating comfortably for 6. There is a sprung sofa bed for additional guests. The sheltered garden has a large built in BBQ and a selection of garden furniture along with a private hot tub.
Stayed here over the Jubilee weekend with 2 friends. We arrived at the location (brightly colourd mural on the door which we liked) that was easy to find from the car park.
Started to look round the property and literally had EVERYTHING we needed and more! The owners have thought of everything and even left us some homemade Gin! :-). The outside area and the hotub is perfect for BBQs and an afternoon or evening chillout. We will be back in the future. Thankyou!

Perfect Location
A beautiful spacious property in a perfect location.
The garden is a real sun trap with the added bonus of a hot tub.
Tewkesbury Abbey is a 2minute walk and the river a 5 minute walk.
A very handy care package was waiting on arrival.
The host was really helpful and flexible. It was perfect from start to finish.

Highly recommended. This property is a little gem, very quaint with loads of little features that we loved. Loved the little touches.. Dressing gowns, plenty of towels, and welcome pack, Hot tub at temperature when we arrived. Really can't praise this property enough, loved our stay. Thank you so much to the Walkers, who were close by if needed xx

Location great
Stayed here during holiday for 6 nights. I like to cook and there was everything I needed to use.
Location perfect for the town centre and driving out. Parking available which was a must.
A welcome pack of bread, butter, sloe gin .....plus plus plus....... so kind.
Lovely well behaved dogs and a most beautiful cat......
Only down side to anyone booking....the stairs are steep, so not for the elderly or knee, hip problems. You could sleep downstairs.
There’s plenty of room.
I’d Definitely stay again.

Home from home
We had an email with details to get us into a fabulously spacious property, there was bread, milk, eggs, tea/coffee to get us started. Logs/kindling were brought round by the owners although there was enough wood for a couple of days anyway. House was very comfortable with non of us wanting to go back home when the time comes. Relaxed atmosphere in a fabulous area, plenty of places to eat out. Lovely relaxing holiday in a lovely location, plenty of walks.

Lovely home, great location
Situated in town by the Abbey, yet wonderfully private. The house is beautiful and equipped with everything required. The garden is a private, lovely, outdoor space where my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub with a glass of wine.

The Mews
It seems we had a different experience from all others who have stayed. The accommodation was nice, it was clean but very drab and tired.
The owners did not make themselves known to us despite being in the yard when they were having a hot tub fitted right outside our back door.
The yard/garden area did not lend itself to sitting in as seemed neglected.
We enjoyed Tewkesbury and surroundings very much and Mews Cottage was in a great position.

Perfect Stay
What a wonderful stay. We couldn't have asked for a nicer accommodation. Everything from the welcome package of breakfast goodies, to the visits from the "fur-babies", helped make our home away from home comfortable and easy. Steps away from the Abbey, easy access to The Cotswolds and Wales, local shops all near by, all we met friendly. This is the second property by these owners I have stayed at, and if given the opportunity will stay again.

Just back from a lovely stay in The Mews. The house was charming and our boys loved their bunk beds and tv and sink in their room. Everything we needed was provided and the fridge was stocked with welcome goodies. Alex and Nick made us very welcome, suggesting local activities we might be interested in. The kids enjoyed the dogs and cat and the house was clean. The town itself was lovely - it was like stepping back into history, and so pretty! We loved exploring the little alleys down to the river. The Abbey was beautiful and we spent a lovely afternoon just relaxing in the park where there was a playpark and loads of space for children to run around. Being close to Cheltenham was great for shopping, eating, lido and Imax cinema. Would recommend the mews as good accommodation at a reasonable price.

Tewkesbury is a beautiful medieval town with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs.
It is also unique in having two rivers passing through it, the Severn and the Avon, so there are many riverside walks to explore.
Tewkesbury has a fantastic food festival at the beginning of May and the largest battle re-enactment weekend in July.
