This is a very comfortable, well-maintained flat less than a minute's walk from the Salthill Prom--a long, beautiful seaside walk that leads out to great beaches in one direction and into central Galway, in the other. Location perfect for convenience to cozy village of Salthill (just out the door) as well as the city itself (a 15-min. walk away)--you won't need a car. The development is quiet and well-kept-up; there are young families and people walking dogs and kids playing in the green spaces, secluded from the big streets nearby. The flat opens from both bedrooms into a private, walled garden. Some of Galway's best food shopping is just steps away. Dympna is a low-key, accommodating host. There's nothing flashy about her or the house--just simple Irish hospitality and care. I'd certainly stay here again in a future visit to this great city.

A lovely comfortable apartment in a very good position. Quiet area, just minutes from Salthill promenade. Easy access into Galway City and also the surrounding area including Connemara and the Burren. Two good bedrooms, one en suite. The apartment was well equipped and the owner very helpful and friendly.

If you are looking for an appartment in/near Galway, this one is just great. Two bedrooms, both with garden view. Two bathrooms, one located inside one of the bedrooms. A spacious combined living/eating/kitchen-room with an open fireplace (gas, easy to operate). Fully equipped with everything you need. Washing machine, Tumble dryer, Dishwasher, .... A generous amount of towels were given. The ocean promenade is just 100m away. Great for a walk in the evening sun. Galway centre is only 10-15 Mins away (on foot), shopping and pubs are even closer. The owner is a very nice host. Fully recommended.

This home was perfect for three adventurous adults visiting the west of Ireland during a rainy, windy spell in April. We could walk into the main city of Galway within 10 minutes, but the small town of Salthill itself kept us fed and entertained even without going into the city. The home is very comfortable, fully outfitted (we cooked several meals with no problem), and very quiet. Parking is widely available and roomy. The promenade and beach are a block away, and we had easy access to the roads that took us into Connemara as well as down into Clare. This property is among the very best we have stayed in. Indeed, we are already planning to stay here for Galway2020!

Lovely apartment, kept immaculately, in a lovely quiet part of Salthill. Easy walking distance to everything. Host a really lovely lady to boot. Hope to be back sooner rather than later!

My sister and I spent 7 nights here. Wonderful location to Salthill center and Galway. The apartment was perfect for us as we didn't have a car so walking about everywhere was great. The apartment was delightful. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The fireplace was perfect and used every morning to take the chill off. We did not cook so I cannot speak of how well stocked the kitchen was. I would recommend this to a couple or to single gals. The land lady brought us milk and scones upon arrival and checked in via text a few times which we appreciated. I would recommend she leave some brochures and bus schedules for future guests. It would be helpful. I fully loved this place and am thankful it was available to us.

This two bedroom/two bath holiday rental was perfect! 5 minute walk to the Salthill promenade. On bus route, no need for a car. Clean and comfy. The landlady Dympna could not have been nicer. Just a lovely place with a full working kitchen, big tv, secure wifi. Back enclosed yard just lovely. We did a lot of walking and it was wonderful. Already thinking about next years stay! Felt like I could live here forever!

Beautiful well appointed apartment. Ideally located across the road from prom and within walking distance of city centre.

We stayed for 1 week & we loved it. Dympna (the landlady)was so helpful & nice. The apartment was spotless & so comfortable. A real home away from home. A definite 10 out of 10... We will definitely be back.

We stayed for three weeks in this lovely house. My children enjoyed it a lot because there is a big green area outside, and lovely people around. I felt as if it were my own home. The house has a lot of storage space both in bedrooms and kitchen. Very well equipped kitchen. The house is even better than showed in the pictures because Dympna takes care of it and it has details than cannot been seen in the photos. We loved it and we will go back for sure. Thanks Dympna.
