Large double bedroom and 2nd bedroom with bunk beds. Travel Cot and single put up beds available for extra children. Had a fab stay in the apartment! Spacious apartment in a great location. Has a bath which is great with kids! We could also store our roof box in the shed which was handy for getting in and out of car parks not having it attached to the car! Really fab stay and of would highly recommend. Hosts are very nice.

Beautiful stay
We had a beautiful week in this apartment in Salthill. Everything was perfect! Mary and Cliff are great hosts and the apartment has everything you need. The view is also really nice. Salthill is about 25 min walk from Galway city center. The walk is beautiful but you can also take the bus. Thanks very much for letting us stay at your apartment. Regards Birgit

Salthill is some spot!
Mary and Cliff’s apartment is everything you need- it’s clean, full of light, spacious, all essential amenities there (washing machine, tumble drier) even little extras like a toy box for the children.
Apartment block is in a great location, close to nice coffee shops, restaurants, the beach and everything Salthill has to offer.
We will definitely return, the children didn’t want to go home!

Fantastic home from home
Galway Bay apartments are a perfect home from home. A spacious apartment with everything you need and added extras including Netflix, a washing machine and tumble dryer! The apartment was spotlessly cleaned and the beds very comfortable. The location was brilliant. The apartment at one end and the bars restaurants are at the other end of the same street. Leave the apartment turn right and you are at the safest beach my kids have ever been on. Mary and Cliff leave a very good folder full of plenty of places to bring children to. I would highly recommend Loughwell Farm.
We were there the week before restaurants were allowed to have people eating inside. We struggled to eat in any of them. We were being asked to wait 2 hours for a table and it did not seem to matter what time of day. Some of the bars had said when they were opening inside they would not be allowing children. Also most restaurants and takeaways did not open Mondays and Tuesdays some didn't open until Thursday. Nowhere was taking bookings while we were there they couldn't cope with the demand so stopped it! We ended up getting lovely takeaway food from the gourmet food parlour which was very close to the apartment, kids watching Netflix while we enjoyed a lovely meal and a reasonably priced bottle of wine we wanted to drink! O'Reilly's was a nice place and Lucy was a lovely waitress, brilliant with our boys. Lana did the best Thai takeaway I've had. The centra was also very handy and useful!
The whole family had a fantastic time here, Mary and Cliff were lovely and left milk for a cuppa which was a lovely welcome! Thanks to both of you for letting us stay! We will be recommending to everyone we know and hope to return ourselves!

Perfect Place!
Hosts were lovely, place was perfect, clean, tidy, location excellent, had all the amenities in the kitchen etc. to make it a little home from home. Having the washing machine etc. made it possible for me to come home with a tiny bag of washing as opposed to three suitcases!

Lovely apartment
Very clean and comfortable apartment with a wonderful view of Galway Bay and Salthill promenade plus a private car park which was great. Everything you need for a few days away is catered for. Very central for shops, restaurants and bars in Salthill and a 20 minute walk into Galway city with lots to see and do.
I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again soon.

Spot on
Just back from a break here with my family(2 adults, 2 kids)and we were really happy with the apartment. We found it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, secure and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials and some little extras like tea, coffee, cleaning chemicals and books, games and netflix which made for easy entertainment when we needed a break (although Salthill provides plenty of entertainment so you may not find time to enjoy these facilities!). If I could recommend any addition it would be a dishwasher and brighter lights in the bathroom, although neither were a big issue. The apartment is well located close to the aquarium, the beach and prom and its an easy walk into town and to local shops for supplies. There's a lovely sea view over a green area from the balcony. The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to check in early, Mary showed us around and left a booklet of clear instructions for the apartment equipment along with tourist leaflets to inspire adventure. We enjoyed the beach, walking the prom and watching the divers in the evening, the aquarium, the endless supply of places to eat locally and wandering through Galway city which always has a great atmosphere. I would gladly recommend this accommodation and book it again should we be lucky enough to have another holiday in the West.

Thanks for your lovely review Kay. We used to have a dishwasher but most guests told us they would have preferred a tumble dryer in the space provided. Will look into the lights in the bathroom. We'd love to have you again if and when you head out West!!

Spotless apartment, excellent location
The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything needed for a family stay. Location was excellent with lots to do on your doorstep or as a base for exploring the county. Hosts were great throughout our stay. Beautiful views over Galway Bay. Can’t wait to return.

Cliff sets the bar for hosts!
An excellent location, immaculate flat, and an extremely helpful, knowledgeable host. All our questions and needs were immediately and professionally addressed. I thought this flat must be his career, but no! He also finds time for a family, and a job! (other stuff I'm sure) Secure, on site parking is a bonus, and an extensive library in case it rains ... ; >}. The collection of menus, maps and tourist brochures were useful.

About the neighborhood
A mixture of apartments and older original houses from the early days of Salthill. The area is a vibrant mixture of the old and new. Everything for the family holiday from beaches, amusements, funfair and leisure centre to restaurants serving everything from fish and chips through to the latest 'must try' cuisine. The National Aquarium is a few minutes away as is one of Ireland's best golf courses and the Black Rock diving area for the daredevils in the family!
Galway centre is 15 minutes walk away with Shop Street the place to go for variety, great buskers and the heart of the unique Galway atmosphere.
Getting around
Galway city is about a 15 min walk. There is a bus stop outside Caesars Palace Casino, which is about 200m from our block on the other side of the road towards the sea. A bus comes along every half hour for the trip in to the city. A taxi rank is located a short walk from the apartment outside the Seapoint Centre which is down towards the roundabout. In the city there is a train and bus station from where you can get a train or bus to most major towns and cities.
