Corrie Beag is a bright, detached bungalow, on the edge of Pitlochry. It's a few minutes walk from attractions like the Festival Theatre, Loch Faskally and the Hydro Dam and a short distance from the centre of this popular tourist town.

We take part in VisitScotland's quality scheme and we are pleased that Corrie Beag is rated as Three Star, the equivalent of 'Very Good.'

Corrie Beag sleeps six, in four bedrooms - one double, one twin and two singles. There is also a large, well-equipped kitchen-diner, a comfortable, bright and airy lounge and two shower rooms.

Interaction with guests
Usually I meet guests when they arrive. I introduce them to the house and give a quick guided tour so that they know where everything is. Aftee that, I leave them to settle in.

We are available throughout the stay if we are required but otherwise we will not interfere and allow guests to enjoy their stay without having us constantly looking over their shoulders.

If I am not available for any reason, my wife, Judith will take my place.

This is the second time that we have stayed in this bungalow. I don't know when the previous occupants departed, but their clothes are still in the wardrobes after four years. Corrie Beag is a bungalow situated on a small, quiet estate of similar houses on the edge of Pitlochry.
It is within easy walking distance of several of Pitlochry's attractions: Pitlochry Festival Theatre (5-10 minutes on foot); Blair Athol Distillery (5-10 minutes on foot); Dam and Power Station and Loch Faskally (10-15 minutes on foot). The centre of Pitlochry is 20-25 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car.
The A9 road is close by allowing ease of access to many other parts of Scotland (Edinburgh - 1 hours 30 minutes, Glasgow - 2 hours, Dundee - 1 hour.

Airport: Edinburgh: 70.2 mi
Railway: Pitlochry: 1.2 mi
Driving north on the A9 road, follow directions for Inverness and then for Pitlochry when they appear. Perth, Dunkeld and Ballinluig are the main markers on the road. After Ballinluig, follow the signs for Pitlochry which will take you off the A9.

Follow the road into Pitlochry, enter the 30 mph zone, pass the BP service station on your left and then turn first left. This is Bridge Road which takes you over the River Tummel.

Turn first right into Fonab Crescent then a quick turn first left. Corrie Beag is the second house on the right. You can park at the front door or turn first right to take you to the rear entrance.
