Tigh Mo Mhiann is a real croft cottage built of stone with cosy timber-lined walls and the real fires give it a homely atmosphere. It is tastefully modernised with a lovely bathroom and large kitchen-diner. The bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are narrow and steep and will not suit those with impaired mobility. ** HolidayLettings / TripAdvisor pricing alert ** If you are looking at this without having given dates, you will see a misleading 'price per night'. Please ignore that. TripAdvisor insists on showing the lowest possible price which, in this case, is the incremental one night rate for adding a WEEKNIGHT to a stay in November. If you enter dates, then you should see the correct price for your stay! Short breaks (3 nights plus) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within...Tigh Mo Mhiann is a real croft cottage built of stone with cosy timber-lined walls and the real fires give it a homely atmosphere. Great cottage, ideal for exploring!
A cute little cottage, which was perfectly clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, pots, dishes etc., just like home. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring, we visited Fort Willaim, the Glenfinnan Viaduct (Hogwarts Express passed over) and had tickets for the Jacobite Train to Malaig. The Nevis range is just a few miles up the road and you could visit Skye too! Great places to eat out too if you don't fancy cooking!

Good cottage
The location is very quiet with big garden surrounding the cottage. Check in is very easy with a keysafe. Everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom is provided except from tea and coffees and only bbc channels on the TV. The double bed was a bit slanted however it didn't effect the experience as we were so tried from climbing ben nevis. Would recommend for people wanting the explore the local area.

Thanks for your review. We will check out the double bed as it certainly shouldn't have any slant. Thanks for letting us know. For anyone wondering about the TV, it's a smart tv so it can get almost everything but you will need to have your own login for Netflix, Prime etc. Amanda

Lovely holiday 🥰
very welcoming, warm and comfortable house, with a beautiful kitchen that we used a lot, wonderful places around and the snow made everything more enchanting. what a wonderful thing to be in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate watching the snow come down.

Lovely comfortable cottage in ideal location
This lovely cottage is well equipped with all you could need for a self catering holiday. Ideal location for visiting places in every direction. It's right next to Roybridge train station enabling us to take the train to Rannoch Moor station with wonderful scenery, and a lovely tea room. Other good days out were a drive over to Mallaig, a ride up the Glen Coe chairlift & also a walk from the cottage to the Parallel roads glacial feature. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a holiday in this area.

Wonderful Cottage
Had a wonderful holiday in this lovely, clean and comfortable cottage. It had everything we needed for our break. The weather was mixed during our stay but that didn't stop us from doing anything. The children loved the chickens that came to visit from next door. The neighbour even brought us some new laid eggs which were delicious. We all loved our evening strolls down by the river, it was so peaceful. The cottage was in a great location for visiting other places aswell. A short drive to Fort William which we did a few times during our stay. The swimming pool there was lovely and the Highland Cinema was a great morning out too. We visited the Nevis Range and went up on the cable cars. Not a great fan of cable cars but once up there the views were amazing and the cafe was good. Well worth the visit. The Jacobite steam train was booked up but were not ones to give up so we used the normal train from Fort William to Mallaig. Again the scenery was beautiful. We got the bus back and saw some more lovely places. We also went up the road to see the parallel lines from the ice age. That was well worth the visit too. Glencoe which was around an hours drive from the cottage was amazing. The views from up there are unbelievable and the children loved going in the turf house. We would definitely recommend the cottage as its a great base for visiting lots of different places. There is just so much to see and do. Thanks so much for letting us use your lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage
We had a really lovely couple of days stay at this cute little cottage. Bed linen and towels were clean and fresh as was the whole of the cottage. Nice large porch area with airer for drying stuff if it’s a wet holiday. Lots of walks/hills/mountains to do, especially Ben Nevis if your ready and prepared for achey legs the next day 🤣

Chacterful cottage close to Fort William
This is a superb, secluded, cosy and spacious cottage with loads of parking 12 miles outside Fort William. It is a great base from which to enjoy the superb landscape and there is a pub 100 yards away. The owners are very responsive and the cottage is well equipped with everything you need.

Comfortable cottage in excellent situation
This couldn't have been any better for us for a few days break in a beautiful part of The Highlands. The cottage is lovely and warm.....we didn't require to light either of the fires but guess it would be very cosy even in the winter months. A lot more spacious than it looks in the photos. Lovely walks from the door down to the woodland and river Spean.. Neptune's staircase, the parallel roads, Fort William and Ben Nevis are within easy reach. We took the train from the station a few steps walk from the cottage along to Mallaig over The Glenfinnan viaduct. There isn't any intrusive noise from the trainline despite it being so close. The cottage is so well equipped with all you need for a self catering break. Should you wish a day off from cooking the inn at the end of the lane is very friendly and does good pub food along with a good choice of real ales.
