The apartment is freshly decorated and furnished to provide a comfy yet luxurious home from home. Decor is a mix of modern, vintage and upcycled pieces. The living room which over looks St Mary's Street and the Royal Mile features a smart TV, WIFI and bluetooth speaker. There is a well stocked kitchen with fruit, breakfast cereal, tea and coffee. We live close by and can be contacted before and during your stay. We usually use a key box, but we are more than happy to meet you and show you the apartment if you prefer. If we can't meet you in person we have a key box we can use, with very clear instructions & pictures to help guide you. We are both sociable and have lived in Edinburgh and Scotland for most of our lives so can offer you plenty tips on the best places to eat, drink and visit while enjoying your time in Edinburgh.

About the neighborhood
Located on eclectic St Mary Street, right in the heart of the Old Town, in a historic Edinburgh tenement block. Just minutes from Edinburgh Castle and The Palace of Holyrood - St Mary's Street provides a selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. Waverley train station and Princes Street are also just a short walk away. You will be located right in the beating heart of Edinburgh.
Getting around
The apartment is extremely central so walking to all of Edinburgh's main attractions is very easy. We are 5 minutes walk from Waverley railway station. Prior to arrival, we will send you clear instructions on how to find and access the apartment.

Buses are regular and can take you anywhere in the City quickly. Taxis are easy to hail or call, from the airport a taxi will cost around £25.

If you're driving there is metered parking directly in front of the apartment & also on the nearby streets (£3 per hr) there are also several car parks close by, the most reasonable being Waverley Station (5-10min walk) at £17 per 24hrs.
