Great Apartment; Great Host
My experience from beginning to end exceeded expectations. The apartment was great and exactly as pictured on Tripadvisor. We were very comfortable and it was great to come back to a beautiful apartment at the end of the day as opposed to a hotel room. It was in a nice residential area with a nice pub, supermarket, and patisserie all within a 5-minute walk. To me, the best thing about the rental was my experience with the owner, Slawomir. He was incredibly quick to reply to all questions (and as a wheelchair user I had a lot) and worked with us on an early arrival time. Edinburgh was a fantastic city and, when I return, will be staying here again.

Good Base
Owner very helpful and promptly replied to queries. Flat spotless and lovely and quiet. Bedrooms spacious. We were there for the Fringe Festival and it was an ideal base. We got uber taxis in which were very price right. If you are for and healthy you could get in on local transport. Would stay again.

Wonderful gem for all your needs
What a great find! Comfortable, easily accessible, free parking, and walking distance from the night life of Edinburgh. The best is yet to come with how quiet it was once you settled in for the night. The apartment was warm and well kept with full facilities including leaving us milk!! Excellent communication with landlord throughout, and fantastically well priced.

Excelent Apartament
I use to travel a lot and have been to many hotels and some rental apartments. But this one was surely the best of them all. I could live here! Very confortable and cozy, large rooms, all the kitchens and bathroom equipments one might need, towels, everything. Plenty of space, nice parking area, quiet residencial area and at the same time near the centre of the city. And Slawomir, our host, is such a nice guy, so friendly and gave us a lot of useful information about everything, including the city. We will never forget this place. Everything was perfect. Thanks Slawomir for everything.!

Beautiful Apartment in Edinburgh
Lovely, clean, bright, airy and very well maintained apartment by the owner. Equipped with everything you need. Princess Street is a mere 15 minute walk away, otherwise there is a bus stop to the centre of Edinburgh only a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. The owner Slawomir was very helpful and very friendly at all times. Highly recommendable.

Lovely apartment , in good location for city centre
Jacob apartment is a very clean modern apartment within easy walking of the town centre . We stayed this year during the Fringe festival and found the location perfect for walking in and out of the city , but whilst retaining a quiet location at night . The owner is very friendly and helpful , in fact this is the second year we have rented from him in Edinburgh . Plan to return at another time of year .

Perfect Accommodation, Location with Friendly, Helpful Owner
Our stay at the accommodation was perfect for our short break. The apartment was very clean and tidy with all the comforts of home. 10 minute taxi or 30 minute walk into centre of town with local shops and eating places just at the end of the road. Slawomir arranged for us to arrive early and also leave the car in the car park at the end of our stay. We will be returning when we next stay in Edinburgh.

A perfect place to stay.
Just returned from Jacob's Apartment and was immensely pleased with every aspect of our stay. Before arrival, the owner was extremely helpful when we added an extra night and also when contacting us with regards to how we wished the beds to be set up. On arriving in Edinburgh we were allowed to check in early and were met by Slawomir, the owner, who was knowledgeable and helpful, lending us his own child's pushchair when we had forgotten our own! The apartment is as it looks on the photographs - everything looks brand new due to the regular maintenance the owner obviously does. I will most definitely stay again!

PERFECT PLACE TO STAY
The apartment is exactly as you see in the pictures, and more better. It is completely equipped and the location is great, in a quiet place, but in 5 minutes walking you are in a main street with all kind of shops and restaurants. The bus stop is in 5 minutes walking also. If you want to walk to the City Center (Royal Mile and so) it will take you less than 20 minutes. The owner is really hospitable and kind. Very approachable, you can contact him whenever. He also provides you with information about the places to visit in the city. Wifi, heating, towels, tea, coffee, milk, soap & champoo are provided. We really felt at home.

First class, modern accommodation, well situated, 2 minutes walk to Leith Walk & 10 minutes walk to Princes Street. Great facilities, everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay. Always a warm welcome. Will definitely return.

GETTING AROUND BY BUS AND TAXI The way to get to the apartment is take abus number 100 (ticket costs £4.5 per person) from airport to Waverley Station(travel time about 25 minutes) and then taxi (taxi costs around £6-8) to the apartment or you can ask how much will be taxi from the airport to the apartment because it could be the same price (around £25)as bus tickets especially when is few of you. All details about Buses you can find on website lothianbuses(at)com Taxi from the apartment to Edinburgh airport cost about £25. Taxi from apartment to Waverley Train Station,Royal Mile and Princes St. cost about £7. Or you can walk about 10-15 minutes to Waverley Train Station,Royal Mile in Old Town Princes St. in New Town. There are a number of local bus services that go near the apartment from Easter Road bus 35 and 1. Bus no.35 will take you in minutes to Scottish Parliament, The Royal Residence at Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile,National Museum of Scotland, Old Town and direct from Edinburgh Airport to the apartment, ticket cost £1.60 per person. Bus no.1 will take you in minutes to Princes Street, West End and New Town. Bus no.26 will take you in 20 minutes to Edinburgh Zoo or opposite direction to Portobello Beach( Edinburgh's seaside ).
