Our flat is on the first floor in a classic, high-ceiling Edinburgh-style tenement building. The whole flat faces out on to the street through large windows that let in plenty of light (and sun when it's sunny!)

You'll have all the comforts of home, a couple of mintues' walk from busy Broughton Street with it's trendy bars, boutique shops, great pubs and well-reviewed restaurants.

Lovely apartment with great access to all the sights and shopping in Edinburgh. Lots of places to shop and eat close by as well. I especially recommend the Bluebird Cafe for breakfast. We enjoyed everything about our stay, thank you Pip!

The location was superb - a pizza place downstairs, a park across the road and the best coffee in Edinburgh round the corner at 'Coffee Magic'. Pip the owner was really welcoming, friendly and helpful and provided tonnes of ideas for sightseeing and exploring this beautiful city.

How to get there
Airport: Edinburgh International Airport: 8.7 mi
Railway: Waverly Edinburgh: 0.7 mi
Rodney Street is very easy to access from the city centre. If you arrive by plane, take the airport bus to Waverley station, or if you arrive by train make sure you alight at Waverley. From there it is a 15 minute downhill walk to the flat - happy to email you a map, or take the Number 8 bus from North Bridge (next to Balmoral Hotel). If you arrive at the Edinburgh bus station, you are practically at the top of Broughton Street, which becomes Rodney Street. Again you can either walk down or pick up the No 8 bus at the top of Broughton Street.
