Due to old age (138years) the Fire place has retired and doesn't work anymore.

Fully furnished and ready to live in with everything you would need from bedlinen and towels to plates and cutlery, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, blender....etc. The property is a Victorian one bedroom garden flat with a secure entry system, one fligt of stairs leading down to to private landing and digital entry door. The bedroom is a large room with a double wardrobe, one king size bed with foam memory mattress. views and direct access to the garden (same level) with no vis-à-vis.The sitting room has a leather sofa and a bed sofa sleeping 2, when in use an additional foam mattress is fitted for super comfortable night sleep.. We very much enjoyed staying in this attractive and spacious flat. Good quiet location near Broughton Street with its various, independent cafés, shops and bars. Easy walking to the popular sights of Edinburgh but pleasantly away from the crowds. Owner Jean-Luc is very helpful.

About the neighborhood
The Botanic garden is 15/20mins on foot or 5 mins on the number 8 bus from the bus stop 5mins away from of the Mansfield church that host beautiful murals by phoebe Traquair.
Local pubs and restaurants on Broughton Street 10 mins on foot on your way to John Lewis department store (remember to visit their café/restaurant with amazing City views. Also opposite, the Omni center with a selection of national and local restaurants.
From there a 5 mins push will take you to the east end of Princes Street where
you'll find the Waverley train station. ( The only train station in the world named after a novel) by Sir Walter Scott. Enjoy!

How to get there
Railway: Just about 15 mn on Foot: 0.5 mi
You can get to the apartment from the airport by taxi for approximately £25 or by tram (return ticket approx £8.50,) or with the n°100 airport Bus to the Waverley train station. From there expect 20mins walk whilst from the tram when reaching terminus on York place a 10min walk will take you home.
