The apartment is very centrally located on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town, a short walk from the city centre and all its attractions. The bustle of Leith Walk is at the top of the street (5 minutes walk) and the Playhouse Theatre, St James Shopping Centre and the east end of Princes Street (Edinburgh's main shopping street) are less than 15 minutes walk.
Leith Walk provides bus links to most parts of Edinburgh. The Edinburgh tram line terminates a 10 minute walk away on York Place. Waverley Railway Station and St Andrews Bus Station are both less than 20 minutes walk away. There are two small supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the flat and Broughton Street, with its eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants and bars is an easy 10 minute walk.
This is a lovely apartment in a quiet area. There is everything you need here, including toiletries and hairdryers in every room, very useful if you are travelling light. It was lovely and warm despite being bitterly cold outside! Spotlessly clean, couldn’t ask for more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

Wow! What a view
We had an amazing stay in Edinburgh. We were able to walk into the city within 25 mins, but a taxi for a night out was only £11 for 6 people. The apartment is ample for 6 adults and the view and balcony is a huge plus. We had parking for 2 cars included in our stay. Fiona is helpful and friendly and we all agreed we would rent the apartment again if we are lucky enough to return.

Fabulous Apartment, Stunning View
Fabulous apartment, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Fiona communicates so well and we had no problem finding it. The secure parking is a bonus.
There were six of us in all...4 adults and two children...and we had plenty of room, it never felt crowded. Having three bathrooms was wonderful especially in a morning. We were there for a family birthday get-together and a weekend was far too short a stay! If you are reading this....don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it.
Thank you for everything Fiona. We highly recommend and hope to return.

The best place!
This apartment was well equipped and had a great view! If you are somewhat athletic you can walk the entire city from this location. The beds were comfy and the space was exceptionally clean! We loved watching the sunset over the city in the evenings. Highly recommend!

Roomy, Well Decorated Apartment with Stunning City Views
Easy to follow directions to find and access the apartment and parking, which was very safe and secure. Quiet neighborhood convenient to city center. Not sure we figured out how to use the washer/dryer....cycles seemed extremely long and clothes never fully dried. Appreciated having kitchen stocked with milk/juice/coffee tea and cookies.

Lovely apartment but we had to be out by 10 am on a Sunday morning....sharp. owner actually appeared at ten to 10! 😡

Our check-in and check-out times are set to enable sufficient time for the apartment to be prepared to the high standard required for our guests. Whilst we do everything we can to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to guests’ requests for early check-ins or late check-outs, it often simply just isn’t possible, for obvious reasons.
In this case, the guest wanted to both arrive early & leave late. On arrival day, I was very happy to let her drop off her bags & collect keys as soon as she arrived in Edinburgh more than 4 hours before check-in time & I also managed to prepare the apartment for her well ahead of our normal check-in schedule due to the fact that the previous guests had departed very early and I was therefore able to start very early. The guest indicated that she greatly appreciated my flexibility.
With regards to the guest’s request to leave late on her departure day, I would have loved to have also been able to provide her with more time in the apartment but unfortunately as I had new guests arriving imminently, this just was not possible.
I did make this clear to her well in advance of her arrival & reminded her again when she arrived so that she could plan her departure accordingly.
Therefore I was really surprised and disappointed that in spite of these prior communications and especially considering that she had already benefitted from a very early check-in, my asking her to be considerate of our next guests and to please leave by the agreed normal check-out time seems to be cause for some grievance on her part.
In fact, not only did she not leave the apartment by the agreed check-out time thus delaying the next guests access, she seems to think it was unreasonable of me to have asked her to.
It’s a pity people like this guest feel they have more entitlement than any other guest but thankfully it’s a very rare occurrence.

Great apartment for a weekend in Edinburgh
The apartment is a great base for time in Edinburgh with family and friends. Great choice of local bars and restaurants on your doorstep, but it's only a 10 minute walk into the centre of the city where there is obviously more choice.
Would definitely recommend the apartment, and already planning a return visit.

Wonderful apartment
6 adults and a baby had a wonderful time in this apartment. In a lovely area where you can walk to all the main attractions of Edinburgh.
Really clean, really spacey great view across the city. Two bedrooms with bathrooms and another smaller bedroom with a bathroom down the corridor. Kitchen and living area all open up.
Car parking is underneath the apartment with a lift to log all your stuff to the apartment.
Fiona was great and helped us to book, with great communication.
5* would definitely book again.

Wonderful apartment
6 adults had a great weekend staying here
Beautiful well equipped apartment with views across the city
10 mins taxi from Waverley station, Princes Street and Royal Mile
5 mins to Leith Walk and loads of great bars and restaurants which are a lot less busy than those in city centre
Fiona had everything sorted and was a pleasure to deal with
Great weekend and we'll be back

Fantastic Edinburgh apartment.
We stayed in the apartment for a long weekend for a birthday celebration. There were 6 adults and one toddler. The apartment was in a great location, fantastically equipped (especially the kitchen) and extremely comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful and did everything she possibly could to make sure we had a comfortable stay in the apartment. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is a major commercial and cultural centre and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of the unique character of its medieval Old Town and beautiful, planned Georgian New Town.
Every August, the city hosts the world renowned Edinburgh Festival and it's also famous for its New Year celebrations or Hogmanay.
Stunning Edinburgh Castle dominates the skyline and the main street, the Royal Mile leads from the Castle through the Old Town, with its historic buildings and quaint, cobbled streets towards the Palace of Holyrood House and Arthurs Seat, the remnants of an extinct volcano.
A fabulous choice for a city break, there is so much to see and do - shopping, museums and galleries, theatres, great restaurants or just walking around the city taking in the sights.

How to get there
Most guests arrive by train or plane and a car is not necessary in Edinburgh.
From Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station it is an easy 15 minute walk (downhill most of the way) to the apartment.
From Edinburgh airport, there are 3 options. You can take a taxi door to door or there is a very good airport bus (Airlink) which leaves the airport every 10-15 minutes and drops passengers at Waverley Railway Station. From there it is a 15 minute walk to the apartment.
There is also the option of taking the tram from the airport and getting off at the York Place stop, from where it is a 10 minute walk to the apartment.
If arriving by car, we can provide free secure private parking for up to 2 cars during your stay.
