The apartment, which is on the first floor (one flight of stairs), is tastefully furnished and appointed to a very high standard, and has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. It has gas central heating and free Wifi internet access. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The lounge is comfortably furnished, with seating for 4-5 people, including a corner sofa. It is equipped with TV, HiFi & Wifi internet. There is a small balcony off this area. The apartment is ideally located for exploring Edinburgh. Situated right on the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament building are both within two minutes walk. Edinburgh castle, at the top of the Royal Mile, is a few minutes walk away, as is St Giles Cathedral. Other attractions within a few hundred metres (or yards) include: Our Dynamic Earth; the Museum of Edinburgh; the Peoples' Story; Canongate Kirk; and the Museum of Childhood.<BR><BR>All of central Edinburgh is within easy walking distance, including the National Museum of Scotland, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Scotland. Getting around
Our apartment is right on the Royal Mile, so most of the sights are within walking distance. If you want to take a bus tour of the city, the hop-on, hop-off bus routes all stop right across the road from the apartment, or if you want to use the city's excellent bus service, you can get a service 35 at the same stop (or, going the other way, the 35 will take you right to the Royal Yacht Britannia).
If you want to explore further afield, the Waverley Railway station is only 10 minutes walk away, or there are Highland coach tours which leave from various locations within walking distance from Brown's Close.
