Most of the time we are here to greet you and show you around, if for some reason we can't be here, we email in advance to make alternative arrangements.

We are as hand on or hands off as you wish us to be.
A guided tour of the castle and its history is available at no extra charge on request.

We can recommend walks, restaurants, sights to visit etc if that is what you require or if you like dogs, you are welcome to join us to explore the nooks and cranieis of the estate on our dog walks.

We needed a special venue to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. over a long weekend (three nights). Our immediate family attended - 3 daughters & spouses plus 6 grandchildren, aged 16 to 6, plus Dougal, the dog. The accommodation was excellent, just what we needed, and the children were thrilled with the historical setting, to say nothing for the parents....

Can't say enough about the fun we had at this place. I had family come and stay, some just came for dinner. This place is fantastic and is on a hundred acres. We stayed here for a week with 8 adults and 6 children. When you first come up the drive and see the castle you just say WOW. The bedrooms where all very spacious as was the living room and kitchen. Everything you need is provided just bring some food and drink and you are sorted 😊. The local pub the...

Near the lovely village of Fenwick, just north of Kilmarnock. Its only 25 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, with some of the best shopping in the UK. 1 hour from Sterling and Edinburgh and 45 minutes away from Ferry to the beautiful Isle of Arran.
Getting around
The nearest town is Kilmarnock , which has both a train Station and a Bus Terminal.
The no 4 bus goes through the Fenwick Village which is 1.2 miles from the castle.
x77 x 76 stop on Glasgow Road 1.3 miles away, accessed by the Kilmarnock drive.
if you want to use the castle a base for sight-seeing i would recommend a car.

We are just 30 minutes drive from Glasgow airport and 10 minutes drive from Kilmarnock train Station.

Post code to follow KA3 6BX – Marchbank Farmhouse, this brings you to a farm house just before the Gates of the estate.

From M6 goto M74 stay on the M74 (Do not go onto M8 for Glasgow),
Follow M74 west and M77 Kilmarnock/Prestwick Airport.
Please ignore Fenwick signpost at Jn 7 for Fenwick /Stewarton.
Take the slip road off M77 ( Jn 8) for Fenwick/ Kilmarnock, take 1st exit at Roundabout at the end of the slip road, (B 7061).
You are now on Fenwick Main Street take 1st right into Waterslap,
pass a farm house on the left, (Marchbank), KA3 6BX , estate gates are infront of you.
