Home from home
This was my second visit to Sea Haven and a first for my cousin.
After a typically warm welcome we felt immediately "at home" and relaxed after a long journey. The apartment is beautifully fitted and furnished to an exceptional standard.
We really appreciated the welcome pack of essential groceries together with many delicious little treats for us to enjoy.
We felt very reassured about the Covid-safe arrangements that had been put in place.
As previously stated, the location is perfect, beautiful views over the sea and easy access to many local restaurants, places of interest etc. Dedicated, convenient car parking such a bonus at busy times.
We are already planning a return visit.

Bubble of tranquility
Having stayed at Seahaven for the 2nd time I still can’t rate this apartment enough. From the communication and information received from Anne upon booking to the delightful welcoming message on arrival plus treats for a cup of tea and special chocolate treat at bedtime. I had to check we hadn’t booked into the Slieve Donard by mistake!!!
The apartment is equipped with everything you need from a simple cup of tea to a full meal but why would you cook when there is such an array of restaurants and bars right on your doorstep.
If walking is your thing you will be in your element as the Mournes sweep down to Seahaven plus the beach is 20 seconds away and you can walk for miles!
Honestly this place is a hidden gem and should not be missed. You are in your own bubble of tranquility. It was a stormy night with the wind and rain but with the cosy accommodation, heating preset by Anne so we were toasty warm plus the delightful fire, the weather just added to the whole atmosphere. Anne is only a phone call or email away if there were any issues but the only trouble we had was deciding where to eat out!!! Enjoy your stay - you’ll not regret it!!

An exceptional location and property with wonderful owners.
1 Seahaven is our Home from Home with all that we look for in a Holiday Rental. Right in the centre of the town close to the sea, the shopping area and the church. Excellent restaurants within walking distance and wonderful scenery within a few miles. Anne is always available to welcome us and to assist us in whatever way we need. She also provides some 'Goodies' to start us off.
Could not be happier and we keep coming back!

A little gem
We stayed here for three nights, Anne's attention to details is clear to be seen everywhere at 1 Sea Haven. The welcome pack was fantastic and very well received after our journey. Anne was a great source of information on places of interest to visit in the local area. Having your morning coffee looking at the sea and mountains, just heavenly. We will be back!!

New favorite place to stay in Newcastle
Location was great. Watching sea from patio in morning and evening with view of where moutains sweep down to the sea was super. Facilities were superb with all you could need. Everything in town was an easy walk away. Anne was so kind and helpful. The welcoming package was superb and she was always willing to help with what ever we needed right away. Felt like we staying with a friend. Hope to get back soon.

Amazing place!
we visited all the way from New Zealand and we stayed at the sea haven for a week and it was absolutely amazing! right up by the beach and the place was stunning! Anne did an amazing job looking after us and we were also provided with a baby portacot and other baby needs as we had our 7month old with us! The location was great the place was neat and tidy and we were very well looked after! Thank you! Hopefully we will be back one day!

Back for more luxury by the sea
Anne and Phil have the most beautifully appointed seaside apartment. It is perfectly situated to reach all the amenities and attractions in Newcastle.
Sit out in the balcony with a morning coffee enjoying the fantastic view of the mountains and sea. Take a walk along the promenade, go and play some golf, eat in or go to the wonderful restaurants within walking distance of your accommodation.
What more could you ask for.
My family and I stayed for a week. We were 3 adults and a baby. All that we needed and more was at our fingertips. From the welcome basket of goodies that provided a wonderful afternoon tea and a beautiful salad for later, it could not have been more perfect. The information about things to see and do was great. We went on the carlingford ferry and visited mount panther farm park, just 2 of the many and varied things to do.
It was wonderful to be back in this 5 star accommodation. Roll on the next visit.

Beautiful apartment, lovely host and great location.
Apartment was beautiful with lovely host who greeted us with cakes / Prosecco and other useful items to get our weekend off to a perfect start. Location couldn't be better - a stone's throw from the town and beech with superb restaurant literally 20 yards from the door. Newcastle is a great town with usual seaside amenities but also has a fab mountain to climb all within easy walking distance

There is a walking festive every year in the Mourne's. It's a week of organised treks and great craic. Worth checking out!!

Highly recommend
An immaculate apartment with everything you could need supplied by Anne and Phil. The apartment has a lovely relaxed feel and beautiful sea views. I loved sitting in the living room relaxing with the patio door open listening to the waves.
You can be on the beach in seconds and anything you need is a short walk away.
The owners go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay and kindly supplied my disabled mother with a shower seat, not to mention some lovely treats. Would really struggle to imagine how our stay could have been made any better.

Lovely apartment
Fantastic apartment in great location I recently spent the weekend there with my grandson spotlessly clean and very comfortable apartment was very well equipped there was even a welcome basket of goodies and sweets for my grandson best apartment I've ever stayed in and I will definitely be back Anne and Phil were wonderful hosts made us feel very welcome thank you both
