The house is a delightful, bright and deceptively large family cottage beside the sea.The views are some of the best you'll see in Ireland with the house looking unimpeded across the sea to the Mull Of Kintyre and also to Maguire's golden strand. The house itself is ideal for families or for larger parties. There are 4 bedrooms, a living room, a lovely conservatory, 3 bathrooms,utility room and outside patio area which is ideal for barbecues on a summers evening,the patio area is complimented by a wonderful garden. The kitchen is very well laid out and has a gas cooker, dish washer, and a lovely Rayburn range.

Great location
The pictures show exactly what you're getting, a comfy house right on the seafront, with beautiful views and all amenities right on your door step, this was our 3rd family stay in rose cottage and we'll definitely be back..

Rose cottage Balĺycastle
A poorly presented property that was drab and poorly decorated . The beds were of poor quality and old fashioned ,the en-suite shower cubicle was very tiny and the window blind was not operative . There was a strong smell of heating oil each morning and only cleared when the window was opened . Overall not worth the high rate that we paid and was poor value There was no introductory booklet . The location was great and the local spar shop was really good . Our trip to Rathlin island was a brilliant experience and we would recommend this

Great Location
We chose Ballycastle for our first ever visit to northern Ireland and were not disappointed. The cottage is well situated just a step from the sea front, small supermarket and other shops. Parking is on the road outside the property but we never failed to get a space nearby. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable with a lovely conservatory where we ate and a garden with outside table and chairs although sadly the weather was not good enough for us to make use of it. Our only criticisms were a lack of name sign of Rose Cottage on the property making it difficult to find; instruction leaflets for appliances and TV would have been useful and we found the kitchen lacking in some items , also side tables and lights on both sides of the double beds.Just small things which would turn this property from good to excellent.

Fantastic
The accomodation is really good and so close to all amenites. We have stayed here twice a year for the last few years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Love it.

Perfect stay
Myself & 3 other friends just had 4 night stay. Accommodation spacious and comfortable. Location great, by supermarket, coast, restaurants, take away, ferry terminal. Greeted by friendly owner’s rep. Would recommend.

Location location
We have stayed in Rose Cottage several times, and have enjoyed each visit. Excellent facilities, great location and room for all the family. Highly recommended.

the only downside of this holiday was the weather.we love the house .the beach is on the doorstep all the shops are nearby people are friendly and the house itself is big but so comfy its like a home from home+++++++++a great big thank you regards lynda.

Great location and spacious rooms
What a lovely to surprise when we arrived to see how much room we had at Rose Cottage. A good sized and well equipped kitchen with a lovely conservatory that we used all the time backing onto the garden/yard The location is right in the centre of Ballycastle meaning the kids could come and go as they pleased and the beach was a short walk away. Beds are super comfy and the whole house has a relaxed atmosphere to it.

Home from Home
This perfectly situated seaside home made our holiday a great holiday. I couldn't even begin to list all the things that was in this very clean well equipped home. Looks small from the outside but a great surprise awaits you. I would highly recommend this little gem and all my family that visited us during our stay have taken down all the details for Rose Cottage so they too can enjoy a holiday in Ballycastle. Shops ,Pubs walks beach are all at your door step we live in Australia now but staying there made it feel like home. Thank you Paul and Seamus both very easy to deal with great communication which really helps when you live overseas. I wouldn't stay anywhere else now when i visit again after finding this beautiful wee cottage xx

loved the location
perfect location.ideal for everything local . we loved being in the middle of everything the house was comfortable .one week didnt seem enough.thank you paul for being such a lovely host .we will be back if you have us. regards lynda.

Follow this road to Ballycastle for 20km. The house is at the sea front about 50m above Boyle's restaurant. If coming from Larne follow the coast road approx 60km north to Ballycastle.
