My family of 8 has just returned from the most wonderful stay at Swn-y-Dwr in Betws y Coed. The cottage is very well equipped, immaculately clean throughout and the beds very comfortable. We arrived in the dark so it was amazing to wake up and see the beautiful garden and mountain view from the lounge balcony! Wonderful to see and hear the river that runs alongside the property. An absolute ideal location to explore everything that Snowdonia has to offer. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Thank you Nick and Emiko for sharing your wonderful property with us and for being great hosts!!

Amazing accommodation
We did a late booking and couldn’t wish for better .
There was 10 of us for 2 night and accommodating all of us . Immaculately clean well presented warm and cosy. The hosts were fantastic . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tranquil location. Would book again in a second !

Incredible
Swn y Dwr is absolutely wonderful. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, contemporary , comfortable accommodation, plenty of room and all of it spotlessly clean . Nick and Emiko were the perfect hosts making the whole family feel very welcome. We certainly hope to return one day and will definitely recommend to all our friends.

Immaculate Accommodation - Great Location
Location could not have been better. Eateries, pub and good walks all on doorstep. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 10 over three generations. We had a great week and wanted for nothing. Nick and Emiko were very hospitable.

Wonderful family get together.
Swn y Dwr has a wonderful location close to all the village amenities. It is an ideal base to explore all of Snowdonia. The cottage was fabulous,clean, comfortably and very well equipped, and was ideal to accommodate our three generations. Our hosts Nick and Emiko were very welcoming and friendly and our grandchildren loved Joe the dog. We would hope to return to Betws y coed one day and to use this cottage and it’s lovely garden again.

Fantastic cottage with the best possible hosts, in an unrivalled location
There are not enough superlatives to describe the location, the cottage, and the wonderful hosts, Nick and Emiko (and not forgetting you Joe either!).
Betws-y-Coed is the most beautiful place to visit, and an ideal base for exploring the wider area of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage is in a perfect location just off the Pont-y-Pair bridge, immaculately clean, and fully kitted out with everything needed for an enjoyable, relaxing stay. The garden too is wonderfully landscaped with Emiko's Japanese flourishes evident throughout.
I must extend an extra thank you to Nick and Emiko for their help and support when we had a family emergency at the beginning of our stay. They were so gracious with their compassion, support and understanding whilst we were resolving the issue. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Swn-y-Dwr to anyone, and cannot wait to make a return visit ourselves.

Lovely cottage impeccably clean and thoughtfully kitted out
Swn-y-Dwr is located just past the beautiful Pont y Pair bridge in Betws y Coed. Nick and Emiko have furnished it with great attention to detail and with impeccable taste. The kitchen is fully equipped, very soft towels provided, beautiful garden designed by Emiko, with picnic table and outside space for a large family group. There are lots of thoughtful touches, (such as blankets for the living room), and an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. The house itself is just a few minutes walk to the shops as well as to more rigorous walks.
It was lovely chatting to Nick and Emiko and we hope to be returning again for another holiday with our extended grown up family as soon as we can all get together again.
Thank you so much for a cosy, comfortable stay.

Very comfortable and great location
A very comfortable cottage with everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable.
Set in a great location with walks from the door to suit all ages and abilities.
Plenty of local shops and places to eat, we would recommend the local fish and chip shop and The Stables restaurant.
Would love to go back in the summer months to appreciate the beautiful garden of the cottage!
Ideal base to explore local areas.
Nick and Emiko (the owners) greeted us on arrival and were nearby if we needed anything

Wonderful cottage and setting
Eight of us met in Betwys for a reunion. Swn-y-Dwr was the perfect home for us - well equipped, immaculately clean throughout and really comfortable beds. The garden is beautiful too, all the way to the river. Nick was a great host - thank you!

Fabulous cottage and an ideal base for a Snowdonia stay
Lovely cottage, well looked after, lovely and warm, comfortable and cosy. A great space inside for big groups, both in the kitchen and living room. Garden runs down to the river, which was a haven for seeing a host of wildlife (including otters and kingfishers). The cottage is right next to town yet at the same time quiet for being just over the bridge. Ideal. Thank you Nick & Emiko for a warm welcome and lovely stay.
