Cottage

Located near Conwy on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. In a beautiful location, this stone cottage within a cobbled courtyard cottage is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the wide variety of things to do in the area. This quaint L shaped cottage offers facilities for the less able as it is all ground floor level. It provides a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double bedroom, single bedroom, separate bathroom and fitted kitchen/diner. A cosy lounge with an open fire in a stone fireplace has double glazed French windows leading onto a patio and into a pleasant garden.

Great Stay

Stayed here with my 4 sister's, we had a great time. Cottage was beautiful, clean and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Peace and quiet in lovely surroundings

Three of us spent a fantastic week in this lovely spacious cottage in most beautiful surroundings. Lovely garden area where we were able to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. Great location for touring the surrounding area. The cottage is set in a lovely cobbled courtyard which gives a lot of character to the place, The owners were very helpful and most obliging. There was a welcome pack for when we arrived and a lovely vase of tulips in the lounge most appreciated. Overall a most comfortable and cosy cottage.

Nice, quiet, homely cottage ideally placed for North Wales attractions.

We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the homely cottage, with its own garden, which created a quiet haven in the Conwy valley from which to explore the many attractions across North Wales. The kitchen is fully equipped and overall the space provided within the cottage is ideal for the five people it can accommodate. We received a warm welcome from the host and nothing was too much trouble. It was also good to have a welcome pack to help us settle in, which was much appreciated.

An excellent location!

Plas Yw is in an excellent location, providing the opportunity to explore Conwy and the beautiful landscapes of Snowdonia. The cosy cottage is beautiful and well appointed. A joy to stay in.

Wonderful holiday cottages with excellent facilities.

Excellent location for easy access to the main tourist attractions of North Wales such Snowdonia, Great Orme, historical castles such as conwy and caernarfon and North Wales seaside resorts such Llandudno and Isle of Anglesey. Lovely Courtyard cottages,very well equipped with dishwasher, freezer and kitchen facilities, very comfortable bedrooms and very well maintained. Very helpful and friendly. Restaurants and pubs serving excellent food nearby.

Family en masse !

We've stayed here three times now . We stayed the first time just the two us. The second time showing Canadian cousins around this lovely part of Wales . We realised then that these cottages would be ideal for a family gathering . It's tricky to find somewhere that can accommodate all four children ( grown up ) with their husbands and wives AND with their children . We wanted somewhere we could be together but if necessary have a bit of space . This fits the bill completely . The children love the gardens , the play room just all being together . It's been brilliant to have space , up to date kitchens and space to feed them as and when we want .knowing that they can let off steam without offending any one . Brilliant . The mix is never ending I truly think we could have any or all of our huge family here and they would all feel at home . The surrounding area is lovely . It's a shame Bodnant gardens closes at 5 as its a lovely time of the day but we had a lovely time at the end of the day . I had forgotten how much fun it is to roll down a hill !!

Fantastic cottage, great location and very helpful, friendly owners.

We had a fantastic long weekend. The cottage is very central for everything we wanted to do. Neil and Katrin were extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return.

This cottage is perfect

My husband and I stayed at Plas Yw with our son and his two young children. The cottage is spotlessly clean and spacious. The garden was perfect for the two little boys (age 5 and 22 months), they loved the garden and the cottage, the 5 year old called it his Welsh home, and it was home from home, everything we needed was there. The owners were more than helpful, Neil even went the extra mile when we left a bag behind at the end of our stay, he tracked us down to the Dutch Pancake house where we were having breakfast to inform us that we had left it and we were able to collect it before we left the area. If we return to the area we will certainly stay at Plas Yw, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. A lovely relaxing holiday for all of us.

Comfortable, well-equipped cottage in great location

We stayed for a week having booked only a couple of weeks in advance. Directions were very clear. Catrin was friendly and welcoming - flowers, milk and KitKats supplied. Cottage was well-furnished and very spacious as we only needed one bedroom and my husband could use another room for guitar practice. Good level of equipment in kitchen and excellent water pressure for showers. Lovely to have a garden and patio area - good pub for meals down the road and other options nearby. Would have preferred a lighter weight of duvet but reading comments in visitor book it looks as though this part of Wales can be really cold in the winter so maybe we just had the winter bedding!

A great place to stay

A lovely, tranquil base for the area, yet only 3 miles to beautiful Conwy and the coast. The garden was much larger than expected, giving plenty of space for the boys to play football and generally let off steam without disturbing anyone. The hedge was good as a makeshift badminton net too. We were pleased to find a dishwasher as it wasn't mentioned in the cottage description. Overall, a great place to stay.
