The Old Post office is a 16th century cottage that, as the name suggests, was once the village post office. These days, this comfortable, quintessential village cottage provides a fine place to stay for family of friends looking for somewhere to relax and recharge their batteries. A traditional cottage feel, with a well equipped kitchen and cosy sitting room and just a short walk to The White Lion Inn and eatery. What more do you need! The village of Llanelian is a much loved landmark in this area. A quiet little place with a lovely church and a great pub with great food. The beauty of this location is that you’re very close to the coast. The beach at Rhos On Sea is great, there are also some great places to eat nearby too; Bryn Willliams’ restaurant at Porth Eirias, Virgilio’s in Colwyn ...The Old Post office is a 16th century cottage that, as the name suggests, was once the village post office. About the neighborhood
You’ll enjoy artisan craft and independent stores within a short drive away, as well as a great number of high quality places to eat and drink. Make you sure wander down to the quayside where fishermen still hand-rake mussels from the rich waters of the Conwy estuary. Conwy boasts a packed calendar of events so often there is something interesting going on, right on your doorstep. Of course, a visit to the castle is a must, as is a walk along the town walls where you’ll fully appreciate the beauty of this little town and its delightful natural surroundings.
Getting around
Good rail and transport links to Conwy, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno, however a car is recommended due to the village location
