Our architect designed contemporary apartment offers a peaceful and comfortable experience within the heart of the city of Worcester providing spacious split level contemporary accommodation with one ground floor spacious double bedroom. Upstairs a very spacious open plan south facing sitting room with TV, sofabed and large windows overlooks a lawned garden with far reaching views towards the Malvern Hills. A dining area has a fully fitted contemporary style oak kitchen with integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker, and microwave. The modern tiled all white bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin with mirror and shaving point/light, toilet, under floor heating and two windows. Throughout the apartment there are solid wood floors and zoned under floor heating; upstairs the living area has radiators. An attractive courtyard garden looks onto a private lawned area, which is well stocked with plants, outdoor lighting and garden furniture. A further bench overlooking the rear garden is for our guests to enjoy the long distance views towards the Cotswold Hills on sunny days. A selection of books and games are available. There is an iron, ironing board and clothes airer. Please note due to limited space a request for the use of high chair or travel cot should be made at the time of booking. Rental price includes bed linen, heating, electricity, hot water, complimentary Welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar, fruit juice and cereal. Worcester City Centre and the Cathedral are a pleasant twenty minute walk away and a local bus runs close by. The nearest supermarket is 5 minutes walk away (Tesco Express on the London Road). Worcester is a delightful historical city with plenty to see and do and there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants. There are countless beautiful walks along the rivers Severn, Avon and Teme, and the Malvern Hills are close by. Families can enjoy the beautiful Worcestershire countryside and Birmingham, Cadbury’s World, the National Exhibition Centre, Stratford, Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds offer great days out. Worcester is also ideally situated to explore other areas of the Midlands; Oxford, for example, the Brecon Beacons and the Peak District. The location is a haven for wild life. It is situated within the large one acre mature garden of Four Seasons. The garden is surrounded by Leylandii and stocked with acer, silver birch and fruit trees. Adjacent to natural woodland and allotments, it is hard to believe we are within the city. A babysitting service & English lessons is sometimes available. Worcester is surrounded by pretty Worcestershire villages like Kempsey, and Crowle, and is approximately 6 miles from market towns such as Pershore and Upton-on-Severn; it is 20 miles from Stratford and Evesham, 25 miles from Hereford and Warwick, 30 miles from Ross-on-Wye and Birmingham, 40 miles from Banbury and Hay-on-Wye, 50 miles from Oxford and Bristol, and 96 miles from London. Worcester is also ideally situated to explore other areas of the Midlands. A supermarket, post office, pub and hairdressers are a 5 minute walk away down the woodland path. Worcester has many lovely old pubs and restaurants and a folder in the apartment lists many of these. Museum of Royal Worcester, Worcester Cathedral, Grey Friars (National Trust), The Commandery, the Race Course and the Cricket Ground are within walking distance of Four Seasons and there is a good local bus service available. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the opportunity to try hill walking, cycling, rowing, canoeing, horse riding, sailing, golf and cricket. These popular sports are well served in the area with excellent facilities. The Big Chill at Eastnor is nearby for festival lovers. Worcester also has two swimming pools and two cinemas. Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Birmingham have excellent theatres. Further information: Please note Four Seasons is entirely non-smoking and we do not accept pets. We regret credit/debit cards are not accepted. For bookings made less than two weeks before the start, payment must be made by cash or direct transfer. Special booking conditions For the comfort of all our guests we request no smoking. We also request no stilettoes (we suggest you bring your slippers to compliment our wooden floors and underfloor heating), no felt tips, no wax crayons and no candles. Local area Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the opportunity to try hill walking, cycling, rowing, canoeing, horse riding, sailing, golf and cricket. These popular sports are well served in the area with excellent facilities. The city has two swimming pools and two cinemas. Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Birmingham also have excellent theatres. Worcester is a in the heart of Worcestershire and is a fruit producing region (eg. apples, pears, plums and damsons) with beautiful rolling countryside and of course the nearby Malvern Hills. A supermarket, post office, pub and hairdressers are a 5 minute walk away down the woodland path. Worcester has many lovely old pubs and restaurants and a folder in the apartment lists many of these. Tips on how to get here: Worcester has two railway stations (Worcester Foregate Street and Worcester Shrub Hill) and both are a pleasant 20 minute walk from Four Seasons. The nearest airport is Birmingham International with a rail link to Worcester Stations via Birmingham New Street Station. Alternatively it is a straight forward 40 minute drive from Birmingham International Airport to Worcester (South - Junction 7). Bristol airport is the next nearest airport with easy access on the M5 (about 90 minutes). It is an approximately 2.5 hour drive from Portsmouth Port. Our two contemporary apartments offer light spacious accommodation in a peaceful garden setting within walking distance of Worcester city. Each comfortable apartment has a luxury kitchen & bathroom & southerly views towards the Malvern Hills. 5 minutes Junction 7 M5. Interaction with guests
We live next door and usually welcome guests on arrival and show them around the apartment. If for any reason we are away there is a key safe for the collection of the key. We are here to answer any queries but otherwise are quite happy to leave you in peace throughout your stay to respect your privacy (and ours). There is a welcome pack with local information and tea and coffee available.
