Shepherds hut break away
An amazing shepherds hut with everything you need for a little break away, beautiful views and garden and the hot tub is an added bonus with the south facing sun. Inside is lovely decor in excellent condition. Very comfortable and cosy. Lovely firepit and seating areas in the garden to relax. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Goodwood where the hut is , is very close to Chichester, a lovely town with plenty of shops and great restaurants. Portsmouth is only 30 minutes away with lots of shops at Gun Wharf, worth a visit too! This really is a gorgeous retreat, perfect for couples who want to escape busy lives. Really glad we found this place and can't wait to book up again.

Perfect getaway for 2 nights
What a lovely weekend we had at Bluebell shepherds hut. The hut itself is made up so nicely inside, all the little extra touches Such as welcome basket, butter and milk in the fridge, sweets and chocolates etc all made our stay that bit more special. Our main attraction here was the hot tub with its lovely view and being so scheduled was just perfect. We will be recommending this little gem to all our friends and family.

Perfect
What an absolutely beautiful place. Just stayed for 2 nights as a present for my boyfriends birthday. Everything is just right. Warm and cosy, and the garden and hot tub are a great way to finish of a nice day out. Carol even provides robes and towels so all you need to bring is swimmers. Even tho it was rather windy while we stayed, the hut stayed nice and toastie all night. Can't recommend this place enough! We're already looking through dates to come back!

Amazing stay at Bluebell hut
My boyfriend and I had a 3 night break here for October half term and we had an amazing time! The hut is so cute and had everything we needed. It was well equipped which made us feel at home. It was clean, tidy and just a lovely place to escape to. The views from the hot tub and garden which is private were beautiful, especially if you get a good sunset. On arrival, Carol greeted us and showed us around the hut and told us everything we needed to know. There is a very informative folder in the hut which explains everything if you forget. Communication prior to arrival was good and she is great at replying to any questions you may have about your stay. The hot tub and fire pit was something we used every night. Carol ensured there was enough logs and fire lighters as well as providing robes, crocs, towels and plastic cups for outside and use around the hot tub. The welcome basket with a loaf of bread, jams, crisps and small biscuits was a great touch. There was also some milk, water and butter in the fridge. Very useful to know in advance when planning a small food shop. Sainsburys is just 3 miles away from the hut on Westhampnett Road, Chichester. We ate lunch at The Fox Goes Free which served lovely food and would highly recommend especially if you were going to walk the 9.6 miles there and back like we did!! My shins are still aching!! We spent a day in Selsey Bill which is just a 25 minute drive away from the hut and had a cold but lovely walk along the beach. We ate in the Riveria cafe for lunch. Later that evening, we ate one of the best meals I’ve ever had at the Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant which is part of the Goodwood Hotel. We walked there as it was less than a mile away. If you want to do some fine dining, this is the place! The food was just exquisite and I would highly recommend it. We also ate breakfast after we checked out at a place called Boxies in Boxgrove which is just over a mile away. It’s also a farm shop and we had the best Full English and large coffee each to set us up for the journey home. If you didn’t want to eat out, there is a fully functioning oven with a grill and an induction hob with 2 rings to cook on. We were sad to leave and will definitely want to return in the summer!

Perfect Anniversary break
Me and my Husband are currently here, unfortunately we leave today 😔 We've had the most peaceful and relaxing 2 nights, the hut is just Beautiful and very clean, Carol has thought of every little detail, a gorgeous welcome basket is full of goodies, this meant we could enjoy our first afternoon without popping out for the essentials, tea, coffee and hot chocolate is also provided, along with fresh milk and butter, marshmallows and chocolates also for you to enjoy! The garden is so peaceful and beautiful scenery, the hot tub was a favourite of ours, there is also a hot tub basket in the cupboard of the hut with towels, shoes and dressing gowns for you to use while hopping in and out, we also enjoyed watching the little planes go over during the day, we both had 2 full nights sleep, something we haven't had for a while thanks to our 2 Daughters 🙈 The only down side is having to leave 😔 We will absolutely be back and I'm going to make sure all of our family and friends know about this little gem! We've enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thank you Carol, It's been perfect! 5 stars just isn't enough!! 💗

Fantastic shepherds hut!
We cannot recommend this little shepherds hut enough! Perfect for a relaxing break! We stayed for two nights in November as a mini break. Communications prior to the trip were excellent, we shared messages with Carol who was very helpful in answering all our questions. Jasper was there to greet us upon our arrival and give us a quick tour of the facilities, which was really helpful. The hut itself is lovely! There’s the main kitchen area with fridge/freezer, hob, full sized oven, sink and plenty of crockery and pots, pans etc. Upon arrival there was a lovely basket of supplies - bread, crisps, granola, jams, ginger bread biscuits, mini wine bottle. Milk and butter in the fridge also. Some sauces and condiments in the cupboards. Cleaning supplies - washing up liquid, clingfilm, foil, cloths etc. Then other treats and sweets in little jars. The little touches by Carol and Jasper really make this place special. There’s also a seating area with fold down table and tv on the wall, and then the bed folds on top. Considering it’s a shepherds hut we had two good nights sleep here and the bed is big enough for two adults. We found the storage to be good and we could always store our bag under the table or bed to keep it out our way. There is also a book inside with information and guidance on the hut and local area etc. Some books if you fancy a read. Also a selection of board games which we enjoyed! We have two games on our Christmas list now!! The bathroom is fully functional and the shower is actually quite big! We had no issues with hot water for showers, it was always ample. Fully functioning toilet etc. The bathroom is well stocked with suppliers - body washes, face wipes, cotton pads etc. And towels are provided. There is also a heated towel rail. There is a heater in the main area and it keeps the whole hut really warm. We didn’t need to worry about getting cold at all, despite the fact it was gale force winds, very cold and pouring down with rain outside. There is also a cupboard for storage where you can hang coats etc. Lots of useful bits in there - iron, ironing board, blankets, first aid kit etc. In the cupboard (in a hamper) is plastic crockery, croc shoes (his & hers), towels and gowns for the hot tub. These are washed between guests so no need to take your own. The hot tub was lovely! It poured with rain pretty much most of our trip but we still managed to get out in the hot tub often! Lovely secluded spot. The garden area would be lovely in the warmer months, there was garden furniture, swing seat, fire pit and bbq. The location is great and the hut is completely private in the grounds of Carol and Jasper’s home. The hut looks out on open fields. There was also space for us to park our car on the driveway. Jasper also took the time to say goodbye at the end of our trip and check everything was ok, which was lovely. All in all a lovely few days, we’d definitely recommend and would love to return! Thank you Carol and Jasper.

Wonderfully Cosy and beautifully appointed.
This is a wonderful little spot for one or two people. The hut is superbly equipped and really makes great use of a small space and to a really high standard. It is secluded from nearby properties but looks across open fields. The hot tub is wonderful, tucked away and yet with views across the fields, lit up by fairy lights and with a glass of something cold it was delightful. Carol provided all the little extras for the hot tub, in the hut, advice for trips and eating out and indeed a few bits for breakfast too! The location is excellent for Chichester and the wonderful Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant is only 1/2 a mile walk up the road. Highly recommended.

Stunning, secluded, romantic retreat
What a beautiful shepherd's hut, tastefully decorated but highly functional too. A secluded entrance into a magical garden with Bluebell looking so romantic, with private views and hot tub surround by fairylights at night with views across stunning farmland. Carol is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond and is so warm and welcoming. Worth a visit!
