We spent the weekend at the Lodge to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Such a lovely, relaxing place to stay, right by the River Avon. A great view of boats, rowers, wildlife and the odd fisherman. The Lodge itself is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped....More

William Shakespeare's birthplace (1564 to 1616 ). Visit his home in Stratford town centre - Anne Hathaway's Cottage & Mary Arden's house.
You will find plants & herbs mentioned in his plays, in the gardens nearby.
Visit the new Royal Shakespeare Theatre, where his plays are performed in repertoire, by the finest company in the world - the RSC.
Attend a service at the 800 year old Holy Trinity church & pay your respects to the Bard, at his Grave ( inside the Church ).
Enjoy a trip along the River Avon, either via River Taxi or a guided Bancroft Cruise or hire a rowing boat.

Railway: Stratford Upon Avon: 3.0 km ( Taxi 10 minutes)
By car, M40 & leave at Junction 15, follow the A46 for about 1.5 miles.
From Stratford town centre Bridgefoot by the Crown Plaza Hotel with RSC Theatre on your Right, drive over the historic bridge.
Turn LEFT onto Tiddington Road with Wyevale Garden centre on the left & the Golf Club on the right.
Almost immediately Rayford Park is signposted on the left.
There is also a bus service from the centre of Stratford to the entrance of Rayford Park.
