Good short stay rental with lovely lounge. Upstairs bedrooms very good. Decent size dining room and good accessible kitchen. On the down side the plumbing is showing its age and when 8 are staying it needs careful timing to avoid using both showers at the same time.. The grass had not been cut for our stay and the garden needs some attention for it to be reflective of the photos on line. A bit more attention to detail is needed with the cleaning particularly in the kitchen. Whilst there is loads of on street parking, we had assumed we could use the drive to the property to park but this was not the case.

I'm sorry about the grass, but as you are probably aware it has been raining a lot and the gardener could not cut it. With regard to the parking due to the shape it's not easy for more cars to park as they would get blocked in. As its not a busy road it is quite easy to park either on the road or the grass which is closer to the path leading to the front door. Would you kindly let me know what part of the kitchen was not up to your cleaning standard, as it is quite a large kitchen, so I can inform the cleaners to rectify it. Thank you very much for your feedback.

We stayed at the house for two weeks in July 2014. We found the house clean and well equipped and the location was perfect for us since it was less than a 10 minute drive to my parents home. The lady who lives next door (Carol?) and manages the house was very helpful when we needed it. The owner was easy do deal with particularly as we are on different continents in different time zones! All in all a great experience and we would definitely consider this again if we needed to.

We were very happy with our stay at Oakwood. The house is well equipped and freshly painted and very comfortable. Easily accessible to Guildford which is a gorgeous town and very convenient to all major transport links via the A3 and M25. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to help on several occasions. They were also knowledgeable about the local area.

We rented the bungalow for our stay to attend a local training course. It is truley a home from home: well furnished, well equipped, very clean, functional and good value:). It is in easy reach of Guildford and Woking with many restaurants, shops and links to Heathrow and Gatwick. We are looking very much forward to coming back to the bungalow for our courses in Feb, April and June. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Myself and 7 other friends stayed at this house for a long weekend in November. The owners were very polite and welcoming. The lady who looks after the house was on hand to help us settle in. The house was clean and within easy reach of the town centre. It was also very spacious! Will be booking again for next year :)

I hired this house for my new in laws to use as a base before our wedding day. This is a gem of a bungalow style property with loft conversion, and is beautifully equipped and furnished - it really does look the way it does in the photos. The lady who looks after the property on behalf of the landlord was really friendly and kind, and was not intrusive at all especially considering she lives next door. The landlord is based in Australia so when you contact him bear this mind as he can't give an instant response due to time differences. This is a shame as I can't thank him in person and this property does him great credit.
