With nothing other than horseriders, walkers and the odd cyclist passing by, Logmore is a rural escape where you'll meet a host of wildlife, from our very own badgers, ducks and deer, to the doves and bees, and even the enormous carp in our pond. It's a different world , yet so close to Westcott village and Dorking town.
Having stayed at The Barn previously I revisited to stay at the Hayloft and I wasn't disappointed at all. So beautifully and ergonomicly designed and decorated with beautiful views and walks available. The kitchen comes with quite a few essentials for cooking and the combi microwave with grill was great too. The bathroom is a little tardis with enough hot water for a shower, needing warming up each time. The bed at the top is so cosy and comfortable, feels like a little love nest too. Richard and Gay were so friendly and helpful. Can't recommend Logmore Farm enough and look back to revisiting and maybe trying one of the other accommodations next time. If visiting, make sure you ignore the sat nav and go past the turning to Rose Farm as Logmore Farm is right at the end of the road. Thanks to Richard and Gay for an amazing stay.

Beautiful
We were attending a Buddhist Sangha retreat online and three of us decided to find somewhere quiet so we could have a mini retreat experience as well. And this did not fail us at all. The location is just stunning, so peaceful and quiet for meditation. Animals nearby and a beautiful dog. Richard was very helpful, kind and polite. The floor was surprisingly warm for this time of year and the beds were very comfortable. The place itself is wonderful, beautiful beams, warming fire and amazing attention to detail with decorations. It may seem costly but for three of us staying it was quite affordable and absolutely worth it. Would definitely return here with my husband or as part of another retreat.

A perfect and memorable weekend stay
Loved it!! After visiting friends who were staying in The Barn at Logmore last year, it was obviously the perfect venue for getting together with three old friends for a relaxing weekend in the stunning Surrey countryside.
The four of us had a wonderful weekend and the Barn was so cosy, comfortable and well equipped plus the owners, Richard and Gay were very welcoming and easy to get along with, such a nice couple.

Very friendly hosts and a great location
We try to go on holiday with our grown up family at least once a year. The Barn at Logmore was the ideal location to do this.
Richard and Gay made us very welcome on the farm and they even provided us with duck eggs for our breakfast. We took full advantage of the snooker table.
We also had our 15 month old granddaughter with us and we visited the chickens and ducks, the horses and the fish in the pond at least 3 or 4 times every day, but most of all, she loved Boris the dog, who was extremely gentle with her!
There is plenty to do in the local area. The nearest pub is about 35 minutes walk along public footpaths straight from the door - we had a great Sunday lunch there. We also visited a National Trust property near Dorking and climbed Leith Hill. The view from Leith Hill was worth the climb.

A memorable experience
Our stay at the Barn was the most memorable part of our vacation and was so glad to have stayed there.
When we first arrived, the feeling was strange and apprehensive as the location was really quite secluded.
However, after the 1st evening, my initial feeling for the place was totally changed.
It was a great experience and gave us so much more to talk about to our family and friends. Thank you very much to Gay and Richard C for their kind hospitality. A friendly pat and hug for Boris too. My kids missed him so much.

Quite simply delightful
We were a family of four including 2 young kids (3 & 6) staying for 3 weeks while visiting family in UK from our overseas home.
Email communication for booking and pre-trip queries could not have been better. It was reassuring to know we were dealing with not only efficient but also jolly nice people.
Richard and Gay were there to greet us on arrival early Sunday morning. The introductions were clear and friendly. We warmed to the Barn immediately - not just for its homely and very English decor but also the horses, chickens, doves and fish that the kids spent the next 3 weeks fraternising with.
Richard and Gay were very helpful with some additional requests we had. Given we arrived during a heatwave from our Asian home where aircon is obligatory, our request for fans was warmly received. We got 2 at once and a third was bought within a day. Other little bits and pieces of crockery/cutlery/cleaning stuff was also promptly produced.
Some people may be put off by the relatively remote location but the advantages of peace and quiet make up for it. You certainly need a car even to get to the Westcott village pubs/stores.
Overall no complaints. I gave R&G a list of a few small items that would enhance the experience even more, especially for long stayers.
We will certainly be coming back in the future. Nice people, beautiful place, good location for reaching either London or the coast.

peaceful and pretty place with helpful and friendly hosts
The host were very quick to respond to emails. We loved The Barn. It was very cosy with upstairs rooms overlooking pretty duck pond. My husband loved the pool table. We had every thing we needed. It was a very quiet, tranquil location. Car needed at this place as it is not really walking distance to the village. Access is by a narrow lane.
