St Marks is on a residential street and was as advertised literally 5 mins walk from the back of the train station. We saw that as an advantage because the centre can be quite noisy in the evenings. The only small downside is street parking, St Marks Road has a 2 hour zone so is used by those in the know for parking for the city. The Station Plaza has a number of eateries, so its very close to get good food and M&S food hall is great, about 7 mins walk away.The house was very well kited out and we really enjoyed our stay. The welcome package was much appreciated and everything worked well for us from arrival to departure. If you are thinking of driving from anywhere south of bath then use the southern route into Bath even if the motorway looks like it may save you time as the house is easier to get to from the A36.
