Fabulous living room with views across to Bathwick Hill, perfect for social gatherings Large kitchen with central island looking out onto the cafe society of Bath Perfectly situated to enjoy all of Baths nightlife and attractions The grand apartment in a listed Georgian building has been given a contemporary makeover in pavilion grey, with an impressive staircase leading up to the large open plan living and dining room, sociable kitchen and 6 bedrooms, all with their own small TV and DVD. The living room is great for gatherings, with high ceilings and three tall sash windows with glorious views of distant hills, Grand Bath stone terraces, Sham Castle and Bathwick Hill on the eastern slopes of the city. Below are gardens and buzzing outdoor terraces when the restaurant is open. There are stylish sofas to seat 12, one of which is a sofa-bed and additional pouf chairs for extra seating. Above a marble lined decorative fire-place is a large TV with DVD and deep alcoves on either side hold a selection of books, games, films and Wi-Fi. At the other end, a large oak table seats 14 with comfy leather dining chairs for all. The sociable fitted kitchen has oak floors and a wood-look surfaces, with a large central island and breakfast bar with stools for 5. There is an electric hob with oven, a large fridge with separate freezer, a dishwasher and lots of storage. Turn up the sounds on a retro radio with ipod docking and mix cocktails by a large white dresser with an extensive collection of glassware and crockery. There are lively views of the city streets with handsome Bath stone buildings, vintage shop fronts and café society. The striking staircase continues up to the second floor with 3 bedrooms and a shower room at this level, all with views. The first charming bedroom in grey and sage has two 3' twin beds that zip and link to become a 6' bed along with an easy chair that doubles as a fold-up bed. This room has a fitted wardrobe in one alcove, beside a pretty decorative fireplace and small hand basin in the other, with a couple of small chests for storage and a small TV with DVD. The next spacious room in grey and taupe is a triple with three 3' beds, two of which can zip and link to be a 6' double. It has a fitted wardrobe with shelf space, along with a chest of drawers with TV over and shoe storage with mirror over. The third double bedroom in grey, silver and turquoise is sweet, with a 4'6'' bed, a silver chest of drawers with TV over and a little alcove to hang clothes. This floor has a small contemporary tiled shower room with walk-in shower, small hand basin with some storage under and WC. Housed in an under-stairs cupboard next to the shower room, is a washing machine combined with drier. The top floor under the eaves has 3 bedrooms with views over the rooftops to the surrounding hills. On this level is a family bathroom and a small shower room. The first bedroom is a smart twin room in grey and charcoal with two 3' beds that zip and link to become a 6' double. There is a fitted wardrobe with several chests of drawers and a small TV over a decorative fireplace. The next spacious twin is in grey and green with 3' beds that zip and link to become a 6' double. In this room is a fitted wardrobe with several chests of drawers and a small TV over a decorative fireplace. The final cosy and compact double room is decorated in grey and heather with a 4'6'' bed with chest of drawers and small TV. The spacious family bathroom has double stone hand basins set onto a small grey dresser, a bath with shower handset and WC. Additionally, there is another small contemporary shower room with corner shower, hand basin and WC. Summary. The beds in this property consist of: 2 x double bedrooms 1 room with either 3 singles or 1 superking and a single 2 rooms with either 2 singles or 1 superking 1 room with either 2 singles or 1 superking plus a further single sofa bed 1 x double sofa bed in the lounge

Hen Weekend in bath

12 of us stayed in the Haystack in May for my sisters hen weekend and it was lovely. The place was really clean and had everything we needed like towels, tea coffee, salt and pepper etc. The accommodation is in the perfect location as well, with everything in about a 5-10 min walk. I also loved there there is an app that has been created and this helps for any questions you may have regarding your stay. I would definitely recommend to any one going with a large group, and would use Bath Holiday Rentals again in the future if I visit Bath again.

Lovely property in fantastic central setting

Being a family of 14, the property was absolutely ideal for our needs, and couldn't have been more central to explore beautiful Bath. All of its major attractions were within easy walking distance. We found the house to be well appointed and clean, and all the information and support we were given by the management team prior to and during our stay was very comprehensive.

Fantastic, well-equipped apartment in a great location

Bath Holiday Rentals were extremely helpful and accommodating when making the reservation and the apartment did not disappoint. The check in procedure was great, I was met immediately and given a parking permit and all the details of the apartment and locale. Check out was flexible which was fantastic. The location was great, right in the centre of Bath, staggering distance from all the restaurants and nightlife which was what we wanted as we were there for a hen do. We stayed in and cooked on night one and the apartment was well stocked with kitchen equipment and glasses for everyone. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were and despite being so central we slept well (although I did have a bedroom at the back of the house!). If I had ANY negative comment it would be that the shower room on the first floor was obviously a converted cupboard of some description because it was teeny and the shower head kept falling out of the holder BUT that tiny detail hardly effected our stay which was fantastic. Would highly recommend the property and Bath Rentals on the whole.

Fantastic stay, great property!

Can't recommend this place enough; booked for a friends hen do, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Perfectly central location, the property was brilliantly decorated and kitted out, welcome gift which was a nice touch, communication throughout was excellent, and checking in and out was an absolute breeze. 10/10 would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful accommodation and perfect stay for large group, ideal central location for town

6 spacious bedrooms ( 2 double, 3 twin and one triple) - 3 floors in well equiped house so lots of good exercise with stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Good large lounge/diner and great kitchen. Well furnished, modern and pleasing decor. Perfect central location for town and easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and for sightseeing. Be prepared to pay for long term parking (Charlotte street) and just a few minutes walk to the house.

Fantastic house, great location!

This property was perfect for a weekend away in Bath. Location was excellent, and the house itself was wonderful- really clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. Alexa was really helpful prior to the stay in sending information about Bath and the property, and Sara couldn’t have been more helpful during check in. I would definitely recommend this place for a hen do or group weekend away. Fantastic property!

Brilliant Stay

Such a great location. Really thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was a prime location and accommodation for a large party, such as a hen do. Would really recommend. The house was beautiful.

Excellent venue for a fun weekend with friends in Bath!

Loved The Haystack! Fantastic apartment centrally located in Bath. Tastefully furnished with lovely bedrooms and spacious kitchen and living room. Highly recommended for hen parties or any large group celebration/get-together.

Perfect House, Great Location

We booked this property for my sisters hen Do and it was amazing!!! The location was excellent being super central and close to all the beautiful shops, sights, spas and restaurants Bath has to offer. Parking is a small problem but to be expected being so centrally located, just plan in advance where to park - we used a site where you could rent private parking spaces instead of council car parks which was a lot cheaper! The only thing to mention was the dishwasher was broken and we had to hand wash up (no massive problem and Alexa kindly said that we could leave our last lot of washing up to the cleaner for the inconvenience). The cooker door was also broken but we made Alexa aware, so would assume this will be fixed. Otherwise great house, fab location, expensive but we felt worth it. Would highly recommend The Haystack!

Beautiful house, amazing location!

We had a great hen weekend at the Haystack. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Bath. The house is beautiful, spacious, well equipped & clean. The layout of the house makes it really sociable. The owners were very informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Haystack.
