A 2014 build detached house with 3 double bedrooms and integral garage with walking distance (15 min) of Shrewsbury station either on road or via a riverside walk. In a quiet cul-de-sac this 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom house is furnished to a very high standard and can sleep up to 6 people in 3 double bedrooms. It is perfect for families with the extra facilities of cot and high chair available (by request) at no extra cost. Downstairs there is a spacious living room, with large flat-screen TV with Freeview, a DVD and a HD player/recorder, there is also a selection of books, magazines and games. Leading off the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine.The garage is available to store bikes, golf clubs or wet walking gear and there is off street parking for 2 cars. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with W.C and washbasin. WiFi is available Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite with a double shower, the other 2 bedrooms have twin beds. The family bathroom has a bath with a separate double shower. The house is insulated to the latest standards and has gas Central heating making it comfortable at any time of year. Safety and security is also well catered for lockable windows, high security locks on all external doors, fire doors throughout and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Set amidst glorious countryside near to the Welsh Borders, Shrewsbury is one of England's finest medieval market towns. The historic centre is a shoppers paradise packed with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants and the local market is held four times a week.The town centre is packed with timber-framed black & white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways. In fact it boasts over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael. Charles Darwin was born and educated in Shrewsbury and all around you will find reminders of his association with the town.The River Severn forms a loop around the town centre offering gentle riverside walks or you can enjoy a trip on the new pleasure boat Sabrina. A number of major festivals and unique events are hosted each year, including the world famous Shrewsbury Flower Show. Good location for the Town centre especially if taking the bus. Plenty of eating out options in the town.Good golf courses within in 10 to 30minutes drive. Good Day out at the Iron museum.Regular boat rides up the river. In general a nice tidy house...More

This is our second time staying at this house. It iswell maintained and clean inside and well fitted out. Close to many supermarkets and Shrewsbury Town centre. I would recommend it to others who may wish to visit Shrewsbury and the surrounding coutryside !!!
