For those of an active disposition there are great walks from the door and we are surrounded by excellent mountain biking country. Dogs are welcome too by prior arrangement at no extra charge. Short breaks available. Within a short drive of the 'foodie' heaven of Ludlow, a charming, bustling market town within some great places to eat and drink and with artisan food producers everywhere! Ludlow also boasts a medieval castle which hosts two food festivals per year, an arts festival and a medieval Fayre. Also close by: The Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Stokesay Castle, the market towns of Much Wenlock (home of the modern Olympic Games) and Bridgnorth. Shrewsbury and Hereford also offer excellent shopping.More
